I think swimming is mostly about the athlete's skill and physical strength. ..

Well.. One thing, you can't determine the physics behind, is the mental power of the suit..

If a swimmer is told that the suit will make him faster(and he thinks he feels a difference" he might perform a little bit better.

So even if the suits do just about the same, and don't increase your speed then they deffinately have the other thing as effect.

and for all i know wearing a suit doesn't make you slower ;)

this suit would be banned by Fina in couple months , no doubt . Thorpe glory mostly becuz of this suit without it he just a so so swimmer . even with that fast suit what is Thorpe ? ONE STROKE MID DISTANCE swimmer nothing more nothing less . yeah i know some people can't handle that fact
