You banks can't win. So forget about it. You add fees, or double APRs, I can take my money to a dozen other institutions that will treat me better. They act like they dictate the terms, but they don't.
If a store unilaterally decides that their iPods will cost 50% more than everyone else, thinking that they'll get suckers to pay the higher price, they won't, and they'll go out of business. That's what BOA/Chase etc. are doing with these fees. But a sucker's born every minute.
