The phone is too slow and takes ages to move from one step to the next. I woudn't recommend it because of this reason.

I have this phone.. iv had it for maybe 7 month now..

And i LOVE that the themes and the STYLE inside the phone are specific to other sony ericsson.. its all knew... So much nicer ;)

It happen with some country selection. When going to sony ericsson's site, choose your country as "Ireland", and it is in English language and g900 is there. I don't know why, really..

Functions are around the same, except g900's camera has adjustable focus stuff (argh forgot the name, lol), P1i's battery life is more durable, personally i love qwerty keyboard style, and i prefer p1's design..

I bought it anyhow and I love it. It is one of those phones to get used to though, but didn't take me long. I love having everything in one! The mp3/mp4 player, the phone, the camera - all in one, freeing up pocket space and never forgetting one or the other.

I was concerned it wouldn't have a playlist builder cause my old PSP didn't, but this phone lets you create playlists whenever you want.

Also this phone has 2 cameras: the 5MP and another for video conferencing.

i recently bought this phone and i dont know if there's something wrong with the phone or my wireless company... but my phone freezes on me, like when people call, the calls don't come through and so i would try to turn off my phone and it wont turn off... and there will be times when the phone turns off by itself and i wouldn't be able to turn it on... could someone tell me what's wrong with it? for both times, i'd have to take out the battery and put it in again and then it'd work =S

A verry wierd phone, not at all like the other sonyericssons(not a good thing), dont like it at all, they could have made the phone abit smaller. They could have skipped the buttons and just made a big screen with a keyboard that popped up on the screen.

P1 has not Qwerty Keyboard. Has an hybrid, between a P990 and an ancient system of keyboards with "predective" words.

I have a P990, and i am thinking between N95 8gb, or wait for Xperia.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that HTC and Sony Ericsson might be in partnership this year. Apparently the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 was maufactured completely from HTC, but designed by Sony. HTC are good Phones though!

Nokia is focused only on commercial production. see how many times they have to update their firmware due to factory defects, besides they don't have real quality like SE... believe me, once u use SE you'll never LOOK BACK AT NOKIA, coz they are way back in comparison...

Not so sure Quixpeed. My SE K800i is unusable because the recharge-plug is faulty... and I only plugged the right cables in the way SE adviced me to do.

Anyway, in one way this phone reminds me greatly of the N-series of Nokia. It's crammed full of options but yet they didn't see a way to give it a sleek, logical presentation. The operating system looks like chaos to me!

Yeah, Nokia user interface is always chaotic. And this SE G900 looks similar in that sense.

My love for iPhone just grows after seeing this. The user interface is so easy. I think I'm getting one once they release the SDK - because then there'll be many applications from 3rd party developers.

i agree.. i was a avid user and fan of nokia phones before.. but when i had my last nokia which was a 3230 which was so crappy and mp3 player sucks.. and after a year it started to not work properly, with the little money that i had to buy a new phone, i decided to a 2nd hand k750 which really impressed came because it really had a nice camera with auto focus plus the sound of the mp3 was superb..
