again, enemies need animated attacks, not just standing there and all of the sudden you lose health... but props, im sure this took a lot of work as it is. plus i like the ganondorf sounds for bowser.

Yeah, a good amount of the enimies have custom battle animation attacks. They weren't in the video because the battle was focusing on the heros. You can ask people who have played the game though.

And Bowser's sounds are from bowser from ML and ML2

Animations. You can either use those 3 frame Battle Sprites, or make an Animation for it. Animations are obviously the better choice, as they can have more than 3 frames.

Paint's pretty terrible at keeping original colors when scaling down. I use Ultimate paint to change to 256 colors. Photoshop of course works well too. It just takes longer to open...

We are sticking with the Superstar Saga sprites for Mario and Luigi for a number of reasons. Mostly it's because we want their outside battle sprites to match the in battle. Also as you can see, all the edited sprites we acquired are based on SS and all the suit moves are already done. It would be a hassle to change now.
