yeah I know - I mean the program has me giggling on a regular basis. I just don't like how Gavin's been (or allowed himself to be) treated. Maybe because I see a lot of myself in him, and how I use to behave with a certain person in my life who messed me about a lot. That could be it. ;)

in this series, Gavin has been pussy whipped since DAY ONE! Whenever theres a misunderstanding (mostly coz Stacey is too thick to understand) Gavin has to do the running around after Stacey to placate her. He moves to Wales because she doesn't want to leave her family - oh but its okay for Gavin to leave his family isn't it(?)

I understand theres love and making the person you're with happy, but Gavin (and more pertinently, Stacey) absolutely takes the bloody piss. Has he ever said 'NO' to her?
