At the beginning of the final fight, Smith asks Neo if he likes "what he's done with the place." Does that mean that Smith gained his ability to alter the Matrix from Sati? Does he ever find and assimilate the Architect?
Well to be perfectly honest XD...If I was the one trapped in that room when Smith walked in and he said "Oh I'm not so bad...Once you get to know me..." and when all of his copies walked in...It would be scary...XD....But you got to admit, it would be an epic "death" tho being copid over by Smith like "Alright! @MsBongmaster The oracle is an an intuitive program, initially created to investigate certain aspects of the human psyche. She has been around for 6 versions of the matrix and over this time has developed a new function. This function (helping humans) arose from a deep understanding of humans and their passions (she's learned more about the human psyche than any other machine or program), the weariness of an unending war, and a desire to see humanity on equal footing with the machines again.
@TheBooger89 yh but why is she investigating the human psyche if she knowns the future and why is the architect not as strong as the oracle even tho he createdthe matrix
@benibulma She WAS (key word-was) a program built with a purpose, which was to investigate the human psyche. Thats her origin. Now she has gone 'rogue' and wants to help humans end the war. I do not understand what you mean by 'strong' in reference to the architect and the the oracle. I fairly sure you will find all you want to know at 'thematrix101' website.
@Huhmasta I think you're wrong the lead up is somewhat intense with smith stalking the little girl and Seraph but the oracle meeting was , I think, supposed to come off that way cause smith is so crazy, and crazy can equal funny!
@Huhmasta lol ok. You know, Matrix is like universe with questions and reasons. How was this created and why? What's its purpose when everything will disappear in the end? What's is the meaning with this? It's all about the universe.
@Huhmasta meaning to be eaten by humans, but why, when humans will die and be like ashes as if they were never existed? Doesnt make sense. Everything that has a beginning has an end which is so completely right, so why the beginning then when it will die? Like the universe. Why will it be created when it has an end? Only the meaningful is the thing that has no end which has a meaning to have a beginning.
@laus102 - she probably had to make him to get past the 'old goat' or similar, might be why that's so funny. He had to program himself and the old goat's not his real dad.
I just reminded myself there of one of my fave recurring MST3K riffs,
Real movie line: "Now, you know what the children would say!"
He was resisting at first but then he allowed jhim to possess his body because it was the only way to stop agent smith from taking over his world. Neo wasn't affected by Jhim in a negative way because he had God in his heart, so now he can actually see through his eyes without losing his own sense of self. It's confusing you may need to watch the movie again.
the will to power. every neo is an agent smith...every person alive is both smith and neo...humans (neo) use reason(smith). and our debates on science, religion, politics, etc are our attempts to find an absolute law in a chaotic, relative cosmos. beliefs are like programs, and we often attempt to 'overwrite' each others programming. being indecisive is just as confusing as cognitive dissonance. our beliefs are our own...the ideal, the heart and soul of america, is to allow that.
This settles it. Agent Smith is my favorite Matrix character. So full of contrast, and his speech is so clear and carefully constructed it's almost robotic. (Play on words)
Btw, I laughed when the guy said "Cookies need love like everything else" xDD
Agent Smith has got to be one of the most iconic villains of all-time, and I couldn't imagine anyone other than Hugo Weaving playing him. Whenever Smith appears, the trilogy becomes great. I can't think of a single bad scene with Agent Smith. The interrogation scene from the first film has to be my favourite Agent Smith scene. However, this is also brilliant; the sinister voice, the calmness of his motions and the sudden threatening bursts are just fantastic. And yes, that evil laugh is GENIUS.
@TheUnseenMovieLover I agree with you 100% on that. Agent Smith truly is a great villain, and Hugo Weaving does a great job playing him. I like how he talks in that slow, sinister manner, and refers to Neo as "Mr. Anderson."
I think Weaving should voice an animated Disney villain one of these days. If he were to voice a Disney villain in the same manner in which he played Agent Smith, he could easily pwn Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. Wouldn't you agree?
He seemed quite shocked when he transformed the oracle. I always thought that this clone had become extremely powerful, and it was him/her who fought Neo, not the original Smith.

the same thing Oracle told Neo in the second episode. She knew what would happen ever since she began the conversation with him in the park. The line she said, it meant something that day but I didnt think it was like that. She had it all figured out from the start but she that thought. She somehow hidden that knowing from Smith because she knew that he would absorb her. Now that she knows the only way is to get to Smith's data, is by letting the Machineworld Boss get a hold on Smith's data and destroy him completely. When Smith said "Everything that has a beginning has an end Neo" was
He made another clone...why? Why did he do it? He turned her into another him! When he has like twelve others in the background. He already as all of his workers, so why make another?

oh as someone else said, the oracle is the mother program, a program which has remained on the run, but has helped in creating the final equation of the system - the architect refers to her as stumbling across a certain balance code. this maybe why smith is created under her guidance of Neo,
No the smith thats speaking too the oracle is the Seraph smith wen he got taken over wen all the smiths walked into the room and Seraph is suppose to be the oricles son he was created so u wud never know since hes chinense and shes black
Has anyone ever thought that the plate of cookies were actually 'cookies'. Everytime she offered cookies to Neo, she was pushing him down a certain path. Smith rejected or blocked the cookies by throwing them against the wall. She is afterall the mother program.

@CawWrestlingCWF Yeah, its Mom because if you really pay attention to The Architect, he talks about how he and The Oracle created The Matrix, i.e "If I am the father of the Matrix, she would undoubtedly be it's mother". So, she would infact be Mom to any program. Also, it goes a long way in explaining how she knows everything that ever is, was, and will be.

man, seeing the personality of this Smith and the Smith off of the first Matrix really shows a difference, the voice is different too, he sounds less...stiff.
@CawWrestlingCWF It happens alot in acting, when you return to a character even though your playing the same character, you may approach it differently. The best example I can give is, let's say you have a house with 2 doors and you can only enter the house twice in your lifetime. First time, you may enter door number 1, but you may be curious about door number 2, so you might choose to visit there next time. If that makes any sense?
@1BAFE34 She actually says, "What did you do with Sati?", the little girl. And one of the Smiths quotes her by saying, "Cookies need love, like everything does", implying that they corrupted her. Chances are, they corrupted Seraph also.
why does agent smith say "you would know mom" at 3:08, is that implying that the oracle is the creator of the matrix and/or agent smiths programmer or what?
Because in the other movie the Arthticect says if he was the father of the matrix then the she(The Oracle) would be its mother. Since the Oracle is really a program and agent smith is a program aswell she would be the mother program, thats why he says that. Watch the video of the arthitctet talking to get an understanding.
she is the next architect, a program designed to create a new matrix that includes emotion. That would allow a lasting matrix, instead of the current one, that needs war as a method of control for the anomaly.
the oracle planed this. shes the only program that wants peace. thats why she allows everything to happen, because she knows neo will be the only one able to fix the problem, thus leaving no choice to the machines but to make a truce.
It all points back to something the Architect said to Neo in Reloaded. The Architect refers to himself as "the father of the Matrix" since he created it and he also refers to the Oracle as its mother.
She may have simply known all along that eventually Neo would defeat Smith at the cost of his own life and that for that to happen, Neo would need to fight Oracle/Smith in which he did fight the oracle/smith.
they changed the oracle because in movie 2, the exile from the trainstation had to sell the Merovingian the oracle's "source code" for her appearance in order to bring his kid through the trainstation. She gave it up to him, and she found a new shell.
ive seen the movies, but ive never heard the exilant say anything about that he sold the oracles source code to merovingian? could you tell me in which scene this is told please?
It was either in the Matrix graphic novels, or the Animatrix, or maybe even the deleted scenes on a DVD, it has been a long time so i cannot remember the source.

I think Smith was the inevitable SYSTEM CRASH the Architect meant.
Eventually, some Program will have the same "rule defying ability" as the One did, and it will spread in an attempt to "fix" the anomaly.
This will destroy the Matrix, corrupt the Machine's Source, and coupled with the destruction of Zion, mean the End of the World.
Likely, there were previous "Smith's" also, but they NEVER this powerful, since every previous One Rebooted the Matrix first.

Google search Mobile Audit Club for details on the American holocaust, world human holocaust, but look closely for truths, familial truths.

" i'm scared seriph." she doesn't look very scared, considering that it looks like Seriph shit his pants.
mrboothtv 1 year ago
@mrboothtv Well, she's still only machine. That's probably the best emotion they could pull off with, if we are to follow the plot.
Nintendoggy 1 year ago
@mrboothtv
she is actually scared.
she is the next architect, a program designed to create a new matrix that includes emotion.

Why did Smith call her mother?
LordDrakull3 1 year ago
@LordDrakull3 Because she called him a bastard, so you see its a comeback to the insult.
Wildzide00 1 year ago
@LordDrakull3
It all points back to something the Architect said to Neo in Reloaded. The Architect refers to himself as "the father of the Matrix" since he created it and he also refers to the Oracle as its mother.

i think she did not know that smith was coming. She just believes. she did not know for certain that neo would win she just believed
prisonlogistic 1 year ago
She may have simply known all along that eventually Neo would defeat Smith at the cost of his own life and that for that to happen, Neo would need to fight Oracle/Smith in which he did fight the oracle/smith.

Actually no. She's his mother because the oracle had a hand in creating the matrix. At the same time, creating Smith.
As such, she's smith's "mother"
jianghaolie 2 years ago
@jianghaolie She's a program.

they changed the oracle because in movie 2, the exile from the trainstation had to sell the Merovingian the oracle's "source code" for her appearance in order to bring his kid through the trainstation. She gave it up to him, and she found a new shell.
loderian 2 years ago
whats new shell?
pervayy 2 years ago
"character skin" if you will. Her appearance or physical manifestation. Because she's a program, she is able to change her appearance.
loderian 2 years ago 3
;) i see i see...
pervayy 2 years ago
That, as well as the fact that the actress who played the Oracle in Movie 1 died before production started on Movie 2.
Pokeria1 2 years ago 3
how do you know this?
ive seen the movies, but ive never heard the exilant say anything about that he sold the oracles source code to merovingian? could you tell me in which scene this is told please?
crushni 2 years ago
It was either in the Matrix graphic novels, or the Animatrix, or maybe even the deleted scenes on a DVD, it has been a long time so i cannot remember the source.
loderian 2 years ago
Hey... that's a different oracle.
