u must read this. once u started there is no turnind back. a little 10 year old girl was raped and murdured in 1945. her body was not found until 1947. then a boy last week read this and did not copy and paste this message. the dead girl appeared in his room haunting him and killed hin. if ou do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos in 30 minutes the dead girl will appear in your room tonight and haunt you and kill you. well you better start to copy and paste if you want to be
hello, could you help me pick out colors?? i just need something to start off with, for painting the fellowship, some elves, gondorian soldiers, orcs. what would be something basic to start off with, then if i can mix what i need to make.
Second: I've got a question regarding foundation. I no longer have spray paint, but can I use normal black paint instead? Possibly use some water to make it thinner? Any thoughts? :)
@Nynorskmannen Thanks mate. I'm assuming that you mean using a brush to paint the foundation. There are some issues that happens when you use a brush. Firstly the paint does not give even coverage as with a spray can. Secondly the paint layer will be thicker as well. The third problem will be brush strokes on the miniature. Acrylic wash does not work well as foundation layer. You can experiment using a brush but the finish won't be the same as using spray paint.
i was looking for a vid of how to paint gandalf the grey and the vid is very gd of how u painted gandalf. The model looks amazing and the cloaks awsome its like the real cloak with all the details and everything
Simply amazing to watch you bring life to a figure. What an inspiration. Quick question. When you decided to change the color of the robe, did you carefully remove the oher paint somehow or did you just paint over it?
If you are new, you will definitely be needing this as a guide to determine the highlights for ur mini. After priming everything looks flat right? and difficult to see the details.
It's Gandalf the BROWN!

what colour do you use to drybrush the miniature at the start? I want to use this tutorial and your NMM tutorial on Glamdring to paint Gandalf!

@1madhammer - I had the mini basecoated in black and then dry brushed in white.

That's the joy of painting with diluted paints. You can just paint over without worry of them being too thick or losing details on your mini.;)

you could make a livening on painting miniatures. do you play or do you just paint?
UberFree 2 years ago
I started out wanting to play the game but there's so few Lotr gamers in my country . So I ended up painting them instead.;)
2paintminiatures 2 years ago
Now you have made me want to make a LOTR army. lol. are they easy to paint?
UberFree 2 years ago
I like to paint them because they build up skill in painting skin, armour, leather and fabric etc.. So it really depends if you like the variety.;)
