I think this guy misses the point that authorship is not the full issue. No matter who the author is, Paul allowed it published under his name in his newsletter. His point that everyone is called a racist to the point that the word is meaningless is valid, however.

@papitosabe Either knowling or not RP allows himself to be associated with racist elements and at times tells what are obvious lies with respect to racially charged issues and is willing to lean to whichever side he happens to be addressing that day. Eg, when addressing some crowd with a confederate flag draped behind him he stated the US was the only country that went to war over slavery. He ignores the history of his own state Texas which as a state of Mexico fought to keep slavery.

@NuncNuncNuncNunc have you looked at the facts? or where are you getting your info from? he was working full time as an obgyn over 60hrs/wk... listen to his speeches and people that know him, and actual writings of his, and his history... and its true, the US is the only country that went to war over slavery..all other nations got rid of slavery without a war...please respond with a point? you're losing me

In defense of Bachmann, her comments do not show her to be racist... just an idiot. Slaves did not have any right to care for their children -- the children were slaves and thus their masters property so could be sold off. Same for the parents. Marriage was not even legal for slaves.
