I am sorry mate but that is utter bullshit. Every single one of the lisbon lions were world class as was Danny Mcgrain Paul Mcstay and Kenny Dalglish. They are some of the best players ever and although Cooper and Baxter were very good players they are not even as good as someone like Chris Sutton nevermind the Celtic greats.

It was 0-0 so the game is forgotten but the wee man tore Rangers apart for 90 mins. I'll never forget the conversations, all about Jinky, in the Black Bull after the game. Immortal.

I was fortunate to see Jimmy play and although I'm not a Celtic supporter (Hibs) he was certainly the best player I ever saw. If he had been born in Italy or Brazil the whole world would have known about him. In his prime he was ripping apart the best defences in the world.
I was a regular at Leeds in the glory days of 65 to 75ish, and have never seen them pulled apart as much as when they played Celtic around 1970, and jimmy was the key man. Unbelievably great player.
