I've always loved the American girl dolls. I believe they now have a feature where you can design one for yourself more fully than in the past. You don't have to get Kit or Josephina....A++

Nah... Bratz are much better.. They are soo unrealistic that girls won't try to look like them... But, Barbie is TOO perfect and she has everything... She wears too much pink and her bust is massive and she has teeney feet! Barbie is better for younger girls, but Bratz are better for Preteen/ Older girls! Also...Bigger heads = more hair! :D

my little sister played with bratz wen she was young this was a problem as she can take the feet off and put them in her mouth wich she could choke on . lukely we mange to get it of her wen she did put it in her mouth. i hate bratz though

Barbie dresses more suitably than bratz and I think the ego and body issues should be dependent upon how the child is raised... not from owning a doll.
