The show had a campy plot in all three series. It's always full of plot holes and the guards are always useless.
But like a lot of good shows, it ends up being endearing because of the characters and their development. And every major character in the show gets an interesting end.
Assuming you can shrug off minor issues like logic and sensibility. The writers may not have been the best, but they rarely take the easy way out of a plot and the actors did the best they could.

I am sure they could have written better plots. Why does Robin NEVER kill the Sheriff? Oh right... they finally DID explain that (?)
@signlaw I did too which was why I didn't bother watching season 2. I finally rented Season 2. No wonder Jonas wanted out. Season 3 was really stupid. They could really have done something with this show but didn't.
ok i have mixed feelings do feel as if the acting was a bit off...not on Robins side but on some of the other actors. another thing i can see there are some big editing style errors they making it seem too....TVish... the lil crappy effects tend to take em out the mood...the camera placement wasnt exactly creative neither. but none the less its a good tv show. (the reason i chose Film over TV is purely cuz of that. TV is less creative, n sometimes a bit cheesy)

*speechless* Someone said that this show sucked?! *dies* This show is one of the only reasons that I begged my parents to get BBC on TV (live in the US) and slaved to find season 3 when it did come out. Sure the begining of the series was a little cheesy but it was the first season! It gets better over time! <3

well, i can see why ur called NegativeComment. Robin Hood is suposed to be a family show that everyone can watch but if you don't like it don't watch it!
