  • I always liked the way 89 looked back then. Wish she was still like this today.

  • @trainman584 no way. she looks way better today.

  • I beleive it was 1990.

  • glad you liked it. The wind spoiled some of the shots.

  • Nice video!

  • may be somebody forgot to flip the switch.

  • I wonder why 89's headlight wasn't on when it was pulling into the station.

  • @railfanentertainment Steam tourist regulations weren't as strict back then as they are now. Gettysburg changed everything...

  • @TheStrasburg90 All gettysburg was, was a crown sheet failure, other precautions are because of insurance and tight regulation due to stupid people.

  • @Strasburgfanatic Yes, but Gettysburg also made the FRA look at operations and say "You know what? These operations are too unsafe!" and they saw where railroads were overlooking safety precautions.

  • I think everybody likes steamers, all the appliances are on the outside and noisy.

It was so windy that day, I had to impale myself onto a barded wire fence to hold the camera steady on that long shot. Notice the fireman giving me a funny look?

  • @sakcad What time in the video?

  • Love the steamers
