I am highly confused by peoples interest in Frusciante. His technique is sloppy and his bends sound like some kid play with a squire. I like RHCP but Frusciante is just not good of player or music writer. Can he play something other than sloppy Blues and Penatonic scales for once?

Oh my fucking god, John Frusciante obviously. I like Petrucci hes veary creative and a monster guitarist, but, John Frusciante can play with feeling, and Petrucci not. Just listen the solos.

I'm so pissed off by people saying " he is playing fast so he got no feeling "... Petrucci, diversify rythme, diversify sounds, diversify and scales and that what make music so beautful, it is because you have choice and you don't need to play always pentatonic on a 4/4 rythme like fruciante... sorry

but in my opinion John Petrucci wins, he is the most creative guitar player ever (along with Jimi Hendrix, imo) and he is also very fast, one of the best when it comes to technique (also imo)
