  • This the same most haunted program that was in the UK a while back? Travel Channel should stick to Ghost Adventures. Far better in my opinion.

  • There are no ghosts in Gettysburg but if you go to where Pickett's charge began and look up that slope to the ridge where the Union soldiers you gasped. It is shocking that anyone would send soldiers uphill in the open in front of a well armed and protected unit. You don't need ghosts to be shocked at that battlefield. I recommend that all Americans go to that battlefield at least once. It is beautiful and terrible all at the same time. I'm a combat vet and I still was shocked.

  • What next..the ghost of Lincoln at Gettysburg....

  • I do not think ghost have to always be a dull reflection of a human. I think thay can be different shapes or colors.

  • HAPPY 205th BIRTHDAY GENERAL

  • ...

  • The battle of Schrute farm was far more deadly then Gettysburg!

  • It's all fake. There was no Gettysburgh battle. It was faked at Area 51 just like the fake moon landing that never happened. That dude that looks like Lee in the background was a propped up fake dead soldier used in some of the fake Gettysburg dead photos. The fake Lee prop now sits in Hangar D at Area 51 with some non workable alien flying saucers they could'nt ever back engineer and get running and now collecting dust.

  • @Rusfi10 there was absolutely no point in anything you said...

  • @Rusfi10 that was a waste of internet space what you put on there

  • @Rusfi10 Did somebody get dropped on their head as a child? Or was that faked too? And wait a minute, you still are a child if you think that these posts are gonna do anything besides piss everyone off.

  • @Rusfi10 Dude, whatever!! My ancestors faught in the Civil War.. So, I guess all the stories they told were lies SMFH!!! Get a life.

  • @Rusfi10 what

  • photoshop

  • That monument is SCARY!!

  • Looks like a Confederate officer but it probably is just sort of natural abnormality

  • It's a statue. Duh.

  • Lee didnt die in the Civil war he surrendered remember?

  • Thats not a ghost. Its a tourist wearing coat and hood with hands in pockets, back turned.

  • umm... or it's an old lady wearing a white coat and hat?

Robert E. Lee didn't even die in Gettysburg..

  • IF you ask me, looks more like gen James L. Kemper

    just the gut and all.....

  • @RobertLee25 Exactly what I thought. But he didn't die there either.

  • Ghost spam!

  • Maybe General James Longstreet ?? i see a long beard, looked better..

  • This does not look authentic. I hate how shows try to fake it.

  • what a load of bullshit !!!

  • Lee didn't die at Gettysburg. Longstreet didn't either. It could be Amistead or Trimble. Ain't no tellin.

  • @dhutchinson86 hutch true facts, but as the saying sorta goes: Before Gettysburg Lee never lost a battle; After Gettysburg he never won one. Certainly the myth of the Invincible Bobby Lee did in fact die at Gettysburg, and by Lee's own hand no less.

  • oh yea, that's him allright...

  • LOL fucking fail... It's a statue you dumb bitch!

  • too fat to be lee. looks more like longstreet

  • wut is he doing hre if he died seven years after the gettysburg war happened.is he upset cuz this is da first place he wuz defeated

  • bs

  • bullshit!

  • not real but interesting how they always attempt to create stories out of nothing

  • @iluvjb 1011 Thank you for the response, but I have never seen anything out on the battlefield or in town. When I lived in N.J. I was in an area every night where there was supposed to be some sort of apparitions, but nothing popped out at me there either. I guess the apparitions just don't like me....

  • Not to be a killjoy, but Lee wasn't that large. He was a very lean man.

He got a little heavy later in life but not like that.

I don't want to say a fake just yet but maybe some other officer?

  • I live in Gettysburg, I have seen NOTHING!!!!! I have been on the battlefield at all hours and have seen NOTHING!! All that I've seen are the phony ghost tours making hundreds of thousands of dollars.

  • @ryshenkova i just put up a vid with a pic of a ghost in front of the dobbin house i took that pic while on a ghost tour. if ya wanna check it out. plus if u go on a tour nd take pics with a flash it is likely you will get something.

  • I am a confederate historian. This looks like Longstreet. The beard length, and hat are much the same as General Longstreet.

  • @apocalypsewatchman Agreed. The hat was the biggest give away in my eyes. Also the burley-ness of the physique. Longstreet was a pretty good sized man.

  • I think it is either Longstreet or Armistead.

  • @knappy014 This is more Longstreet. The few photo's of Lo Armistead with beard show that he kept it well trimmed - closer to the face. ;-)

  • If anyone......the image looks more like that of General James Longstreet.......not Bobby Lee.

  • @wolfkarel yeah, that just doesnt look like Lee. It just for some reason made me think Longstreet.

  • amazing text quality! lol

  • Gettysburg is haunted. It'd have to be since it was such an emotional battle, and many soldiers died w/o a proper buriel. That's one of the theories why Gettysburg has so many Confederate ghosts. I doubt the image is Robert E. Lee though. More likely someone photoshopped in his profile.

  • right now - 148 years ago - the 14th Indiana is being called on to bail out big mouthed arrrogant shiney assed button New Englanders of the 11th Corps on Cemetery Hill. Hancock knew who fights and when it involved rifles not mouths - he called on those from the midwest. The midwest is settled from southerners by and large and that is the fighting spirit of America today. You want a sneak thief or a liar go to New England.

  • Uh... 1) Ol' Robby must've put on some serious weight in the afterlife. The man was never rotund and that is the most well fed Reb I've ever seen. That "ghost" looks to be pushing 300lbs. 2) Shouldn't the beard be white if it's REL? The coat is lighter than the beard.

  • I'm a fan of watching the Twilight Zone. But trying to convince people that this ticks me off. What's he gonna do, raise a rebel ghost army and capture Washington D.C.?

  • @civilwardoc1

what do you think the civil war was fought over slavery or preserving the slave holding union

  • Robert E lee did not die at gettysburg....fail.

  • my hairy anus

  • I love the history of gettysburg. I have taken some photos there, and even got a soldier (possibly cavalry because of the striping on his sleeve, although the uniforms didn't all match back then) in McMillan woods, off the main battlefield. I did catch a photo that looks exactly like Robert E. Lee (white beard and all), however, I captured that in Harpers Ferry, W. Va.... And in that period of time, big white beards were the norm. All in the eye of the beholder.

  • i like how robert e lee didnt even die at gettysburg....

  • @TazmanianFire42 it was a major battle though numb nuts

  • @TazmanianFire42 You are correct. Robert E. Lee died in Lexington, Virginia in 1870 from pneumonia, NOT in Gettysburg. So this image must be a fake! Looks very convincing initially, though.

  • Whatever this image is, it is not Robert Edward Lee. This guy is a portly fellow, he did not subsist on meager rations of pork belly and hardtack. Maybe it is the ghost of Edwin Stanton, Lincoln's Secretary of War, surveying the carnage. To claim it is R.E. Lee is to not know real history, it is only wishing it could be the Marble man.

  • @therenae724 yeaaah, on my graet pawpaws sidee!!

  • Maybe its General Armistead?

  • i wish lee would appear to me..

  • rIDICULOUS...THERE ARE SO MANY RE-ENACTORS HANGING AROUND HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY TELL! WITH ALL OF THE BEAUTIFUL PLACES LEE FREQUESNTED DO YOU HONESTLY THINK HE WOUL WANT TO RELIVE THAT? GET A CLUE!

  • eu estive em Gettysburg durante um reconhecimento de area com meu pelotao quando fomos mortos uma emboscada..

  • sorry ya'll but Robert E. Lee is my great great great uncle, and NOOO thats not his ghost, his body is in our family cemtetary, just to let you know, lol.

  • @ShesSoCountry really? im related to him too. on my great grandfathers side.

  • Anthony Johnson - first slave owner in America. He was BLACK by the way.

  • @MrDerby2u funny shit

  • it was implanted...

  • Soldiers killed in Lee's army call back through the ages: Thank you, General Lee, for being such a good Christian, for driving black slaves and torturing them when they didn't do your will, for impregnating black slave women and selling off your own babies, for leading us soldiers to death against the army of the country you swore allegiance to after it educated you, so your caste could keep its position of dominance over the Union, slaves, and us poor southern whites. A true Christian!

  • @parafleet I'm a Union man myself but your wrong about General Lee,he was a good man,he did what he thought his duty was.here are some of his quotes

"I can anticipate no greater calamity for the country than a dissolution of the Union."

"I shall never bear arms against the Union, but it may be necessary for me to carry a musket in the defense of my native state, Virginia, in which case I shall not prove recreant to my duty."

  • @parafleet he believed that the state had the final say-so in their own laws, and it was not up to the federal government to govern over each state. 'State's rights' is a battle still being fought even today.

I'm sorry you cannot see that. Maybe studying might help you

  • @MrDerby2u An American town, county, state, nor the greater country has the right to enslave human beings and their children, and the children the slave masters have with those slaves. Come out of the past. This idea was fought over and decided by a war that killed about 620,000 Americans and about 50,000 civilians (at the very least).

  • @MrDerby2u But, im guessing you are just the ignorant type of person to think only blacks were slaves.

Everywhere in this country, slave labor was going on. Native Americans were slaves for years before the negro ever stepped foot on this soil. But, you just know what BET and the Obama media tells you.

  • @parafleet Justus Angel and Mistress L. Horry, of Colleton District, South Carolina, who each owned 84 slaves in 1830. In fact, in 1830 a fourth of the free Negro slave masters in South Carolina owned 10 or more slaves; eight owning 30 or more.

1.4% of the white population in the US owned slaves. Why would over 98% of the population fight for the right of people to own slaves?

It's because the civil war wasn't about slavery, it was about state's rights. Please educate before you discriminate.

  • In Charleston, South Carolina in 1860, 125 free Negroes owned slaves; six of them owning 10 or more. Of the $1.5 million in taxable property owned by free Negroes in Charleston, more than $300,000 represented slave holdings. In North Carolina 69 free Negroes were slave owners. That's in 1860's money, now including today's inflations.

  • belive it or not im really realated to him. i was doing a school project (haritage) and we found him!!! i dont know how he is realated to him but did u know that he was the genarl for the Cival War???

  • @cheeseproductions00 err that is pretty much what everyone knows him for...

  • The idiocy of the show is just unbelieveable. Of all the countless engagements Robert E. Lee served in, he only lost a few. Out of all the dozens of battles he commanded in, why would he just inexplicably decide to pop up in Gettysburg, so some stupid tv-reporter could get a gander of him?

  • thats def not general lee because Lee was never husky and the man in the picture has a beer gut

  • OH MY GOD! HE HAS A BEARD! THAT OBVIOUSLY MEANS IT'S GENERAL LEE! lol i live in gettysburg and have never witnessed any paranormal activity.

  • @kidkong584 Are you trying to run the tourists off from Gettysburg lol? If you live there I can't say I'd blame you. Your point about the beard is valid... could've been the ghost of wrestling legend Haystacks Calhoun lol.

  • @BradNC11175 lol no i'm not trying to get rid of tourists, i'm just saying that if you're coming here, don't get your hopes up that every single ghost you ever dreamed of would surround you. i will admit that A LOT of people around are just complete freaks. they think when the wind changes direction, it's ghosts. you have to realistically search around. i believe that if there are ghosts, they're residual.

  • @kidkong584 I've been to most of the Civil War battlefields from eastern Va. to Mississippi, from Kentucky to the Gulf of Mexico and I've been to Gettysburg a few times. I've yet to see any spooks but I have had some odd feelings of peace and depression. Maybe that was just my mind after studying the events and knowing what happened there and then seeing those places up close. Most of those places are so peacefull now that it's hard to fathom what really happened there. Anything is possible.

  • @kidkong584 I personally think that the whole civil war was a complete waste of life.Though alot of good came from tragedy abolishment of slavery and keeping our country as one.As for ghosts and paranormal activity are quite rare in occurance. As for it not existing once you have experienced it you will believe!Gettysburg is definately haunted!

  • @gexdex47 When I was young i believed in ghosts, but now I find the whole idea redicilious.

  • kidkong584 What If I was to tell you that Ive been a skeptic too and I live in Northern Arizona on old Indian land and have seen two in approxamately 7years and have photographs to prove it!

  • @gexdex47 Your belief is dominated by your Cerebral Cortex. A portion of your brain that holds beliefs. If you think or hear something on a subject, you will believe that. This belief will be set in stone if you will in your brain and not be released easily. Why would a "ghost" want to spend all eternity trying to get something back when it's not gonna matter BECAUSE HE'S FUCKING DEAD.

  • @kidkong584 Obviously you have your head stuck up your ass! And like most idiots your the same in that aspect!

  • @gexdex47 ME? I'm not the one that actually believes that there are dead people made of mist floating around their house...

  • @kidkong584 so.......why exactly are you watching these videos...? :-/

  • @DiligentSleeper Because I, living extremely close to Gettysburg, wanted to watch some videos about the history of the battle when I came across this bullshit.

  • @kidkong584 well, that makes sense. I agree its bullshit too, this one anyway - it looks like a statue! Plus I hate Most Haunted, can't believe I actually used to watch that shit, hahaha!! :)

  • @DiligentSleeper Oh yeah. There's over 30,000 monuments on the battlefield. If she would say where this was, I'd like to see it for myself.

  • october 10th is mah birthday!:D thx for present!XD

  • It looks like Kemper.

  • Some questions about ghosts.

    Why are they all dressed?

    Think about it.

Where did they get their clothes from?

    Are they spirit clothes?

Every photo of a ghost I ever saw shows them with clothes on.

    Explain that one.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Sorry everyone that was me I was cold and had wrapped myself in my mack and hat, it's a good job I didn't turn up in my re-enactors uniform that would have blown your minds.

  • amen man there's not a lot of people that would do that so I take my hat off to you

  • Devil go away in the name of Jesus Christ.

  • must be a great buffet in heaven, he sure has fattened up from his normal size as Commander of the Army of Northern Virginia. Must cook lots of ribs and rice i suppose. OK...Don't think it is a ghost, and definately not Robert E. Lee. Need to look back at actual photos, he was not a fat man. Most of the South fought starving and barefoot, remember that next time you con us on a ghost story. Thanks Gianni

  • How come all ghost pictures are all popised for the camera-its all staged to keep the tourist money flowing

  • This is not General Lee.It's General Longstreet.General Longstreet visited this field hospital after the battle for Little Round Top,.He was there to check up on General John Bell Hood, one of his division commanders.

  • @apocalypsewatchman Now we are identifying which fat ghost actually showed up to check on John Bell hood. I wonder if Hood's ghost is still there all bandaged up to meet him. If I die and come back as a ghost, I don't think I will be meeting my friends unless they all become ghosts too, IF that is so, then there should be a lot more ghosts. I have seen a ghost before. but not like as depicted in all these boo! ..look ways as demonstrated on youtube. Thanks Gianni

  • @giannivee1

evidently skeptics arn't just skeptics, they're also wise guys.I wasn't talking about longstreets ghost. on day two of the battle when both longstreet and hood were still very much alive, longstreet visited the field hospital on this farm to check up on Hood.Lee seldom visited field hospitals. The image in the video looks like longstreet. actually,i believe ghosts are familier spirts masquarading as the dear departed.

  • @apocalypsewatchman good point, my apologies then, i wish you well.. God bless you

  • @giannivee1

Well, that's much better thank you,and God Bless You.

  • @apocalypsewatchman better to be blessed my friend, and thanks...Gianni

  • If that was Lee's ghost than some one needs to talk some sense into his head and tell him to move to something else.. He's had over 150 years to contemplate his goof up of Picketts Charge, Constantly hanging around there ain' t gonna change the outcome. Dude, you screwed up,but get over it already. No one's perfect, You were a pretty good General overall. We'll give you that. Now scram and get a life.Or do you just love seeing yourself on Youtube all the time?

  • @MrBaloneyhead in all fairness to Robert E. Lee, who was former Superintendent of West Point, liberated Harper's Ferry of John Brown, accolade after accolade. I think even Lee has more sense than to show up in someones camera overweight and looking in the wrong direction. I suppose every sighting has got to be General Lee and not just some other poor southerner who was fighting for his life...go figure. Thanks Gianni

  • that lady scared me!

  • That show Most Haunted sucks.

  • My school is going to Gettysburg and spending the night there...wow. I can't wait. Yanno ill be recording allof it and uploading it on here(:.

  • looks more like Longstreet.

  • look over to the two trees . what is that standing between the trees? it looks like it is facing the general . the top part of his shoulder ?????????? is that a ghost to?

  • @39tommyboy Haha, teres more than two trees.

  • little round top

  • Let it be known, as a shepherd watches over his flock so does an officer watch over his men!!,....spirit does travel,....I'm living proof of it!!!......steve.redtailhawk@yahoo.

  • 1 if that is a ghost its not clear enough to tell if that is Lee or another Confederate officer or union officer.

2 if Lee's ghost was going to haunt a place I doubt it would be Gettysburg. It would more likely be Arlington Cemetary. Arlington Cemetary encompasses Lee's home and land that was confiscated from him by the north and used as a cemetary for yankee soldiers as a insult to Lee. Then they started burying soldiers from later wars there. I dont think Lee would have minded that though.

  • I am a Civil War reenactor have been for about 15 yrs. I have been to Gettysburg so many times that I know just about every part of the battlefield. I have been to parts that every day people dont even know about . I will say I have seen and heard things that I cant explain. What makes me mad is the people that fake it to make money. I will say I took pictures at Antietam at the Roulette Farm that I know are ghost soldiers. Will I show them to anybody? No! For reasons that range clerk has said.

  • @civilwardoc1

why wont you show them? im intrigued

  • @civilwardoc1 i agree with jack, you should show them

  • @civilwardoc1 Why did you take pictures if you're not going to show them to anybody?

  • @civilwardoc1 I am an investigator and would love to see them. A lot of my investigations begin with someone saying "you're gonna think I'm crazy..." My reply, " No, i will not."

  • @civilwardoc1 i had a very unique experience as I drove thru the Gettysburg Battlefield area...I have written it down and sent it to a blog site--- google search phrase:

    derr ufo ghost battle

it is posted at a paranormal site and also at newsvine.com...its all true....happened long ago. sorry to any one who wonders why i waited so long to try and report it properly. it just got put on the list of things to do....DERR UFO

  • @civilwardoc1 Or maybe people will realize you are seeing things?

  • Colonel Sanders

  • ok?

  • Lol I'm related to Robert E. Lee and thats awesome I hope its real(:

  • u know getty's burgh is really haunted

  • General Lee was a devoted Christian and would not want to come back from the Heaven the grace of God gave him to haunt a place of hellishness created by man.

  • Whooey !!!!

  • this is the lamest ghost video on YouTube and probably on the internet!

  • thumbs up if your thinkg that guy next to the ghost thought everyone was taking a picture of him

  • This is disgraceful---this wacks go around to areas where brave Americans Died and these loosers claim they detect and find ghosts---go back to your looser jobs---leave research to trained folks---next thing you know they will claim flying saucers come to these areas...these creeps make me sick!

  • fake stuff

  • Ummm Duhhh!! That is a statue in on the HIll!! Look again!! Wow! what some will do to have a stupid TV show!!

  • when i die i am going to travle. there is no law or rule that says that spirits have to be in one spot. except if its residual or something. but thats not going ot be me. I am going places and the first place i am going is Johnny Depps shower when he's taking one. its going to be a bit chilly when my ghostly presence shows up to succubus him. may have to help him turn up to heat to warm things up. hehehehehe.

  • @Chynaash andtry look likeaclown he isscared of clowns

  • Not a ghost. Its actually an imprint which is when the environment "records." It only happens under certain conditions. People produce a signal and trasmit it out and the environment can capture it. Rare but possible.

  • @diaz4sho That my friend is a possible theory of mine.Of course it could be his ghost also.So much of his energy was put into this battle that he might somehow be trapped there.Don't forget, the Confederates really should have won that battle.Had it not been for the 20th Maine that fought them hand to hand at Little Round Top and repelled them, the Confederates would have had control of the most strategic location at Gettysburg.

  • Wow! What a great load of horseshit.

  • Actually, the figure doesn't resemble Lee. It looks more like Longstreet or A. P. Hill.

  • That's bullcrap ghosts aren't real u could Photoshop that.

  • @iseeroadkill32 I'm sorry how many times have you died again? exactly

  • I think its some nigger playing a joke.

  • @HHHdahman

    shut up you bigot!

  • The spirit LOOKED to have a very large beard. That COULD also be the ghost of General Lewis Armistead....

  • @throbbin87 Good observation, I also noticed that the figure was broad. I was thinking it could have been Ge. James Longstreet or Pete as he was affectionately known by his friends on both sides. But, Amistead did in fact die from his wounds at Gettysburg where as Longstreet died here in Gainesville Ga. In Jan of 1904

  • @JSD3530.....Hmmm...That is a good point too, one doesnt have to die at a place to expend such mental energy as to leave an 'imprint'....watching the boys of his corps get slaughtered during Pickett's charge sure could cause that! Not a bad idea either!

  • i think its just some1

  • @crackuhbottle Some named Robert Edward Lee

  • @crackuhbottle i think it actually is him. you can see his beard.

  • @crackuhbottle i think it actually is him. you can see his beard. and not only that, it was gray. what color did confederate soldiers wear? Gray .

  • @crackuhbottle i think it actually is him. you can see his beard. and not only that, it was gray. what color did confederate soldiers wear? Gray .

  • Awesome!!

  • Boo!!!

  • to me it looks like Gen longstreet , but General Longstreet was in Ga after the battle of gettysburg i beleave , this battle would have been over if lee would have listened to him and gone to the right of the federal line .

  • really great appirition.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah I agree RJC, when Braxton's Bragg's army crossed Sand Mountain to get to Chickamauga (Leading to Atlanta), the southern soldiers were so starved they thought it lucky to pick a piece of corn out of a dram horse's feces and swallow it before another soldier saw it. The army was professional, tough, shoeless and happy. General Grant's well fed, well dressed soldiers, were put to shame by the half naked brave soldiers of the south. Who are now forgotten and misrepresented. God bless!

  • Well the ghost appears to be a man of great girth, General Lee wasn't a fat man, he was a normal sized and described by many who knew him as to be normal sized with a large head and trimmed beard. The beard on this person, who is obviously fat appears to be very long. I don't think it looks anything like lee, it probably is some much less ranking victim of the fighting. Also the south was known tohave marched very far and lean soldiers were probably the norm for the southerners.

  • @giannivee1 You are spot on! If in fact this "ghost" is a ghost, it isn't Lee's ghost. Also, none of the Generals in the Army of Northern Virginia, nor its soldiers were overweight: none of them. People don't understand that persons of that era were shorter and thinner than people today, because they walked almost everywhere they went, and they didn't have the same type of diet or food choices, as we do today. This picture seems to be doctored also. That said, it doesn't seem legit.

  • whats everyone seeing that i dont its someone in a white coat with the hood up

  • Think about it , from that far away it could be a statue , cause there is 48384583 of those there .

  • @234manvswild

Id be like watsup my nigga.

  • @thecowboy09 to be honest the only reason i have this user name is because when i was 12, i had to make an MSN for school reasons. and just about any user name was already taken. so i just randomly typed this name and it came up. now after 7 years i am sort of attached to it for some reason. but i generally use the same user name in games to make it easier to identify me.

  • @thecowboy09 yea but if the ghost is residual he would never react. to see a real ghost as in one who interacts is rare. 99% of the time if you see a ghost it is residual which means it repeats a cycle and will not interact. some ghosts have several residual areas. though the residual ghost is not really the ghost but energy that was left there in their life time. whether or not it is really him is an interesting matter. it is said in his deathbed coma his last words were "move out of camp."
