The music in this opening is awesome (Mrgumi Hayashibara rocks!!), but the visuals sort of bother me. I don't like the way it's mostly just characters scrolling across the screen. It feels kind of cheap.

thats not the opening, it´s the ending. And thats why there is that much characters scrolling. It´s always that way in the series in the endings. Watch the opening to see more "animated" stuff ^_^

We'll have to wait and see aMELIA. Cartoon Network seems to be getting away from anime more and more as far as I can tell so maybe it will go straight to DVD. BTW love the screen name (I love Amelia cause she's sooo cute; okay and cause she has big boobs LMAO)

Yup, they are both dead. Garv hurt by Lina and Xelloss then killed by Fibrizo. Fibrizo killed by the Lord of Nightmares through Lina.

Casual fans probably wouldn't realize they're the symbols for Garv and Phibrizo anyway...

Anyway, with such heavy Xelloss presence in the OP and ED (especially with that reference to Xelloss' true form in the OP!), I think it'd be safe to assume that the Mazoku continue to have a deeply vested interest in Lina.

I recognize two of the new chars in the OP from the novels, too, but both of them would have to have their stories significantly changed for the anime, so we'll have to see how it goes.

nice quialty! but everyone should of course watch the whole episode via zero raws they really did a great job encoding it. The episode looks so HD. I love seeing slayers again! This was always my favorite anime!

Actually that's not Luna in the opening, but at least they're the rear of Zelas from the novels :P
