That was part of the ripped BG we had available from a Mugen Project. We'll have the regular version eventually and maybe "added stuff" from custom BGs as an option.
Thanks guys! The opening screens are actually part of the game. Right now each one is just a flat image but they are placeholders to make adding those sections of the game pretty straightforward to do.
It's actually only by chance that it doesn't have any MK3/UMK3 stuff in it yet. It'll actually use UMK3's engine, not MK2. For now the goal is to have all the characters from all the games with UMK3 style gameplay and have it balanced. Hopefully there will be some fun secrets too.

GJ on this engine so far, I got a few questions
1)Are Mileena and Jax going to be balanced compared to the others??
2)what makes this diffrent from the original (what stages/charachter/moves are you adding?)
