  • The audio in your video is a little weird. But I like it.

  • what settings should i use to get the clearest sound and minimal background noise on my C03U?

  • I have the CO1U, i freakin love it, it's worked perfect for me. :)

  • Macs suck balls i had a mac and its gayy now ima pc i could buids a pc for the same price of trhe mac pro bitch

  • they dont suck balls, they're just more expensive...

  • Looks good.

  • Dude, where did you get that wallpaper?!? Can you send me a link?

    Thanks

  • I use a Rode and the screen works better than the 90 degree angle. Still picks up a lot of p and s sounds. Very nice though once you find what works for you. Keep the vids coming.

  • should of got a Zoom H2 /H4n

  • hopefully the pop filter will sort out the anoying sounds we hear, i like the sound of it for podcasts and that. i think the isight would be better for most your videos though.

  • not for audio.

  • If you're not going to show us anything on your computer you could always make the iSight footage a lot bigger.

  • Seems cold out there.

  • put the mic louder and move it away... its like puff puff.... don't like how your isight clip is so small...

  • funny how you never comment till you have something bad to say. I have done my research people. You hold the mic 3-6 inches away. People always think they know better and they dont have one single video.,

  • Well you do have me there.. but hey, I'm just a video viewer. I wasn't trying to say anything bad, really. Just placing an options as a viewer.

  • You did your research? I thought you did video editing professionaly?

You need to back of from the mic dude. It is honest critisism. I know I over modulate once in a while but I am not making videos trying to tell other people what to buy and how to record podcasts.

This video is bad news dude.

  • do you research AT ALL. You need to be 3-5 inches from the mic, especially this one. Your audio sounds like its recorded on a web cam dude, stop criticizing if oyu cant do better. Do you want me to own you on that cause I can?

  • I used set up Mic systems and PA systems every day you idiot. We had noise gates and limiters dude. No over modulation. Get good equipment if you are going to do a video about getting good audio.

Please feel free to own me jackass but you were better of using the webcam. When I use my DV CAM I do not get pops or plosives do I?

We have the right to criticize your video because you doing a video telling people how to record good audio but it sounds like crap.

    .

  • i dont like the sound of this mic

  • Nice mic, get a pop filter though.

  • looks like SoilderKnowsBest's mic

  • I have a Samson mic - not sure if it's that one. I'll check later.

  • I have to agree with adobepc. even if you don't buy a compressor use software to compress the sound to add a bit more volume and clarity

  • Nice background, how can I get that:)

  • i love that background

  • Needs a little adjusting I'd say...

  • definitely need a pop screen for this mic.

  • I agree

  • sounds good to me, maybe up the volume a bit on the mic so you dont have to get so close though

  • this sounds actually really bad

  • the rock band mic is wonderful, usb and away i go,

  • I liked your old sound better : /

  • Do you ever use your MacBook pro anymore?

  • A tad muffled if I must say.

  • When I was hunting for a new USB Mic I considered getting that one, other one I wanted was the Audio Technica AT2020. I considered getting either one, but eventually went with a Logitech USB mic instead. I'm happy so far with it, but if I was going to do podcasting then I'd certainly put out more money for a better one.

  • Applesoldier, it sounded worse than before. You need to invest in a limiter because You are over modulating at times and your Ps are causing plosives. I do it in my videos. I have a limiter and a compressor but I do not use it for youtube. You should just stick with the webcam microphone unless you have a limiter. I would if I were you. I over modulate myself now and then but you did it way to much and have way to many plosives.

It is easier to work with a webcam mic or a lapel microphone.

  • @adobePC

A pop filter will help with the "P's"

  • Omg.... i've commented on the state of your mic before... and although what you said is right, you need to do it for your videos too.

  • I agree witht the pop filter but a limiter would be best. A compressor would help out also.

A limiter to stop over modulation and a compressor to make the volume sound more even.

A lapel mic might be better for emeek.

  • Why would you say that CarbonFilms. I am not doing a video telling peope how to do audio professionaly am I?

Youtube is just for fun for me. I am not going to run through my audio board for youtube videos.

  • You sound like a pro !!

  • wow thats sounds really good, almost like listening to talk radio :P

  • Do you have a link to your wallpaper? Thanks

  • your P's at the beginning were annoying...

perhaps sit a bit farther away form the mic?

  • no, you need to be close. I just need a pop filter.

  • You might want to invest in one if those before using your new mic to much :)

  • your voice sounds deaper lol

  • sounds great for 150$

  • It sounds a lot better if you don't sit so close to the microphone.

  • You HAVE TO be close. Any pro will tell you so.

  • A mic like that, should be at least a half a foot away, if that thing cost over $50 and you need to be that close, it's a rip off, my little $12 iMicro webcam w/ mic, can pick up my voice clearly from over 2 feet away.

My headset mic, can pick up someone up sitting almost 7-10 feet away.

  • I personally use the Blue Snowball.

    I like it better.

You're Mic is a little bassy, but still, really nice buy!

  • Reallyy Bassy. I have the same mic and I don't sound that bassy. how are u doing this?

  • very bassy, yeah definately a pop filter, honestly when you back up from it a little bit it sound ok

  • Dude. Don't eat that thing. :)

In the other video, the sound was 10/10. :D

  • Did you like my banner?

  • Comment removed

  • You should pull back from the mic. You're getting a lot of 'Puff' sounds.

  • He needs a pop shield as he stated that why he has heavy P's.

  • Ahh...missed that. Thx!

  • what? you mean someone actually listened? lol.

  • sounds great!

  • hey i like your WALLPAPER can you give me the links to Download ? Thanks...

  • looks like a anal probe!

  • I agree with MajinFrahma.

It sounds fine, but it's to muffled and has to much bass, to me.

Why not use the built in mic on your computer?

  • Wow. Are you serious?

  • Yes, why wouldn't I be?

  • He asked are you serious because that's what applesoldier used for every single video before this one.

  • Well, all the other videos sound better.

  • to you they do. I have gotten MORE people telling me it sounds better than worse this way so stop acting like your opinion is the end of whats good and not good.

  • It sounds very clear but it is a bit bassy.

  • Might be my speakers but it sounds quite bassy.

  • Same here.

  • Nice Mic :)

  • cool
