  • (3) Listening to them just puts me in a great mood, I see life as beautiful thing, I see people in love and relaxation! I'm totally amazed that besides 'In the Summertime,' NO radio station (in LA area) ever played this band’ songs, but honestly TONS of other garbage, every day! I wrote to a few of them suggesting to play them...to no avail!?... Probably those young dudes not even heard of or can spell out Mungo Jerry! What a shame! Which makes me say again: "Oh, my God!"

  • (2) And Ray Dorset can stand up and tall with any of the top singers of all times! What a voice, what a style, what a feeling - with absolutely NO equal, nobody can imitate them - which is a sign of greatness, uniqueness! And, let's notice that in most of their songs they do not even use drums, only guitars and a piano! That's mastery! Just AMAZING!

  • (1) "Oh my God!" I remember like now, I was in junior high-school when I first heard this band and I felt in love with them instantly! Now, 40+ years later I keep listening to them over and over again, and I can't get enough of it! Only Mighty Man, Lady Rose, In the Summertime, Long Legged Woman Dressed in Black, Baby Jump, Alright, Don’t Have to be in the Army, puts Mungo Jerry at the top with the best bands of all times!
