@osvtorr I used my Vox Tonelab LE valve pedal, no the overdrive is not of the Bugera, its not a Bugera demo :p

@y0shi12 Our band also get confused as to what to class it as, but we also generally dont care, we just call it metal. But we have been labelled power metal anyway and thats what we generally stick to when people ask us what we play.

Oh, I never said it SOUNDED bad. Just the incredible reports of unreliability. I found it incredibly bizarre he replaced an amp because of reliability issues for one of the most notoriously unreliable amps on the market.

1. The amp replaced was an amp that was already broken, you really suspect im going to walk on stage with an amp that cuts out when im playing? 2. Bugera WAS the most unreliable company 2-3 YEARS AGO, that was because they bought a faulty bunch of tubes, anybody who has bought them within the 09/10 have had no problems whatsoever and have been 100% satisfied with there product, trust me I am not stupid, I wouldnt buy it if it was unreliable.

Urban myth, I have not heard of ANY Bugera or any other valve amp actually catching fire.

3 main problems with these models:

I/T clip burnt out die to hi resistance and innability to handle current load:FIXED all wires ahrd soldered!

Tube failure due to transit damage (shipped plugged in)

An on going hazard but NOT an amp fault or lack of quality.

Tube failure due to poor biasing. All tube maps usually ship very cold & its UP to you to get it set right.

Toob noobs failure NOT the amp!

@MetallixKnight Dont feel like a jackass dude, its not an easy thing to pronounce at first site! We pronounce it Eterna, but I was told once by a guy who studied latin it was pronounced eye-ter-nah rather than ee-ter-nah

@bladesnspades2 Nope its a Bentley custom (Bentley being my surname and my dad being a luthier). Its a strat body so its not an rg, with an ibanez style head stock, but not an identical headstock
