  • No tone board is installed I haven't tried to hit any local repeaters with it yet since I wanted to really use it for APRS.

    The antenna is a Diamond MR77 I just got it this past Friday.

  • If there is a CTCSS encoder inside the Kenwood, make sure the Tone switch is off.

    Is your antenna,coax good? Can you hit local voice repeaters ok?
