I generally shudder when I see these sort of remixes on YouTube, but I must say, even though it's definitely too fast for my taste, I gotta give you props, you kept the integrity of the song. I spose kids today prefer the (to me) soulless, faster rhythm but at least you kept the "feel" of the song very much on front street.

I have to tip my cap to you. This is a VERY GOOD remix & I say this as an Old School DJ who began DJing around the time that this song came out. I really like what you've done with this. It's difficult to take a classic & do justice to it but you've managed to do just that with everything coming in on beat & where one would expect the various elements to enter the mix. The average "remixer" would've absolutely butchered this but you didn't. GREAT JOB!

@DatSoulBoss I TOTALLY AGREE. I do a lot of these reconstructions and staying true to the original is important to me. Today I hear guys who do remixes and think the surprise change and suddenly everything that made the song great is gone. This is how you do a remix. It is a song that changes tempo slightly as it plays so keeping it on time was always a challenge...with a mix like this you can mix in and out of it. Inspiring cause this is one of my all time favorites. Beautiful song and remix!
