@Kimmy1 I am a ebay girl. I shop alot of my earring from there. Some of them are from NYC, when I go to visit my sister. So they are from different places.

Nice idea, but how well does it hold up with just wood glue?

@TheGDnails Mine hold up really well. because the robs are supported by both ends, it hold up strongly. Of course, I wouldn't suggest hanging 5 pounds earring on it. hehe... Just may sure the glue completely dry before using the rack. btw, I made my first rack 1 year ago and it still stands. Have fun making it!

Don't your earring get a rusted metal smell after awhile? Do you have any methods of preventing them from smelling?

@shinewin If your earrings have a rusty metal smell, you might be able to use a clear nail polish to preserve your metal and control the smell. If it is the ear wires, the hook that hang from your ear, start to smell, then you have to clean it with antibacterial soap. Don't worry, it is normal that this happen. Personally, I don't wear fashion jewelry for long period of time. I always take them off by the end of the day.
