I don't think it's that bad. Some of the instrumention is weird. But, I thought this was unique and creative. So, anything lower than a 4 rating would be unfair, in my opinion.

His version doesn't use Electronica

It uses a custom soundfont consisting of orchestra and symphony iirc

Nice job, but some of the transitions were really off, and the instumentation is really strange

I think I heard a wrong note too...

It gets better as it goes though

You could have used satoshi's orchestra 1.08e or the original

meh, I'll get into the orchestra soundfnot soon. I just used this soundfont (a lot) because of the octaves they offer (baby face to mario to star; fire flower to yoshi). I don't think the instrument choice is too bad though. But that's just me.

Orchestra has way more octave ranges; almost every instrument has a counterpart that is 2 octaves below it or above it

Well I didn't know that. I haven't really gotten a chance to test the Orchestra sounds because I've been too busy with NES and Electronica. Plus, I never liked how Orchestra's sounds stretched out so much.
