The beating of Rodney King was quite interesting, personally I think he deserved it, he lead the police on a high speed, dangerous chase and there was 13 second section of the widely available footage of the beating which was only shown to the jury in the trial of the cops involved, it showed King lunging at the cops, he was high on PCP and very violence prone.
