I really loved this video. I am always willing to watch the videos of the SRF. Please keep uploading and updating the SRF's videos and activities repectively.
Thank you so much for posting the video. I have a great will to visit SRF and receive the Kriya Yoga from there.
Good surfing there at Swamis beach. The police pig state is always there to police the small city park. Then again, California is a police state. The self-realization fellowship is a nice place and the gardens are beautiful. It's one of my favorite beaches. I've felt the presence of Paramhansa Yoganada while at the beach down below the gardens. It's a very humble love. The feeling will knock you to your knees. I felt my brother, Yogananda around me twice on my first two visits. 3rd time no.
If hearing the word God bugs you, I think you are alerting yourself to something that needs to be dealt with within you. Actually, it doesn't matter. But if it matters to you to the point where it upsets you, then something within you is going unaddressed.
God does come in stillness and in deep listening. If I cultivate a meditative state through the day, I am spiritually nudged to come into talk with God often. Meditation is our focusing (meditation) on God...even in our daily routines and activities. If I stay God centered, God becomes my center.
I just recently joined SRF. I am a bit skepticle but I am wanting to continue and see if it can lead me to god Realization. Thanks for this great video
many people who do not see the light try to discredit fellowships like te self realisation fellowship. but in your meditation you will discover the truth. this meditation is the highest and quickest route to finding god within you. I live in the uk and practise Kriya, it has changed my life. you will see in time. Love Light and Peace x
There is a chant in SRF called in the Valley of sorrow, a thousand years or till tomorrow.. my lord ill wait to see only you, you, you just you. If you follow the teachings correctly without using other techniques Guruji will lead you to god. I think on any path patience, discipline, faith and devotion are the keys. You have to give it time
This is a very beautiful garden by the sea. The Monk seems quite nice. I am confused, does his organization believe in God? It is hard to discern from the techniques he is discribing. What is the long haired man in frame 1:17 doing? He appears to have his arms on a T angle and is massaging the corners of his eyes. Is he covering his ears?
Believe in God? The monk said the name God I counted over a dozen times, so yes, they believe in God. The man using the "T" was practicing a meditation technique to further his awareness OF God.
Please listen again, the monk tells you that knowing God in a more deep way requires inner stillness, deeper prayer and LISTENING, vs always telling or asking or yelling to God. He can't get a word in edge wise that way:) The grounds he mentions offer a haven from the restlessness that we all live in.
Hes practicing the technique of listening for the Aum vibration, which is the Holy Ghost spoken of by Christ. It can be heard spontaneously if you go deep enough in meditation, and eventually by absorbing the attention into it the person experiences oneness with God's omnipresence in all creation. This is what Yogananda called the real second coming of Christ; in people's own enlightened consciousness, not as a physical person come back again.
Brother Ramananda, happens to be a favorite of mine when he speaks on Sundays.

He is practicing a technique called the "Om Technique" -- It is a meditation technique.
Yes people in SRF believe in God.
Jesus said, "be still and know that I Am God."
The goal of the techniques are to reduce the mental chatter to ZERO - then you can commune with God - Christ
