No solo por la calidad grafica es la diferencia de precio, tambien por las demas funcionalidades que tiene el Unreal Engine 3, tomando en consideracion que los juegos hechos en U.E. 3 necesitan una PC con mas potencia para correr que los juegos hechos en Torque.

Sin embargo Torque no deja de ser un engine de calidad por lo dicho anteriormente, ya que tiene buena reputacion en el mercado y una buena comunidad , si no no hubiera evolucionado a lo que es hoy en dia.

pos no se, anbos se disputan, pero yo me qedo con blender ya que es libre, no ocupa mucha memoria y con el haces, animaciones, juegos, y los modelos, ya e trabajado con el unreal pero con su version gratis, y no se, no tiene para la creacion de los modelos, talves sea porq es la free version, bn el tgea no e tenido oportunidad de usarlo pero se ve bueno.....

como sea ambos engines se discutan la corona pero el unreal aun asi sige siendo el mas poderoso.

yes that was the point of this demo to illustrate that torque can look as good as unreal

what better way to do that then to recreate an unreal game

it was intentional and it is not a playable game that someone was making to sell but it is a demo like i said to illustrate the graphical similarities between the two engines that might otherwise go unnoticed

Well, I'll try not being a dick, but this video quality is on level of old Unreal Engine 2 (take a look at Unreal Tournament 2004), just actioncam like in Gears of War and enviroments make people think that it looks like Gears of War :)

And, basically, graphic quality nowadays depends mostly on artists, not engine, because rendering pipelines are almost identical

Torque is a buggy pikle of crap. And their support is non existent. They give source code so you can fix all the bugs in their shitty code so they don't have to be bothered with supporting it or you... and you can only build Tribes style games with it.

i havnt used torque, but if what you are saying is true, than that makes Lore, Fallen empires, and tribes MUCH more impressive

TGEA esta disponible para PC y Mac, extendiendo la licencia se puede lanzar los juegos en XBox360, Wii, no estoy seguro pero tambien iPhone
