  • i remember when i did my first HALO jump awesome experience but almost blacked out

  • My friend showed me this video pointing out the jumper's "aura." What do you think? Camera lens smudge/condensation or... aura?

  • has anyone afraid of heights gone skydiving? if so how did you get over it

  • @redarmy126 If you have TO MUCH fear of heights, do not do it! If you want to fight against it, do it. Easy it is. There is no other way if you wanna fight against acrophobia as to do a skydive. Maybe you should start with a lower one, not with a HALO. But, at the end its up to you. The jump what the woman did in the video was her first skydive ever. So you see, it works.

  • @redarmy126 NEVER start with a HALO jump thats for sure, if u want to face it you'll have to force your self to jump out of that plane

  • @MrTiagoorlando ...screw you and your stupid video games you dweeb.

  • real halo jump doesnt need a parachute, master chief doesnt take fall damage

  • @Chickenbranches This "Master Chief" must be an awesome guy. Unbreakable! ;)

  • @SEL9000

    google halo halo jump

  • @scarfacewarvergeben For what, to find us or our partners in US? ;)

  • @SEL9000 He means HALO the video game.

  • there's a problem with the site

  • How much does the drogue chute slow you down? I assume it's just to keep you stable instead of spinning, especially if the novice under you starts flailing his/her arms and legs randomly.

  • Its a long way down.

  • what is the weight limit?

  • Don't you get the bends if jumping from more than 10,000 feet?

  • @takura13 yes but, they are breathing 100% oxygen while they are up there to prevent them from getting it.

  • Biggest jump was done from 96,000 ft.

  • @powmful "Nearby" right: highest jump ever (so far) was done by Joseph Kittinger in 1960 by 102,800 ft (31.300m).

  • you should just call this ODST jumping :P

  • its funny cuz they do halo jumps in halo

  • High Altitude Low Opening. You gaming no lifers.

  • @ProGunTexan because obviously, anyone who plays video games has no life.

  • Next time. Film this. Except in a porno. Having them fucking like estranged eagles, hurdling to the earth. I want to see a super sonic money shot GOD DAMMIT!!!

  • Where is this located? I want to try this so bad!!!! 2 freaking minutes of free falling?? yeah that's better than sex

  • Longest freefall ever! Ah that would be amazing.

  • I. Like. Trains!

  • Also, First person halo jump! Genius! a safer way for other people to experience it..a little... xD

  • If that was me, i would have been like "Am...am i dead!"

  • it looks like funn

  • I thing I didn't like about being new was everyone was like "ARE YOU SCARED" but the jump itself was amazing, sadly halo jumping is big in the area i moved too :/

  • lol Who brought me here was not the HALO game, but the Metal Gear Solid 3-BIG BOSS ROCKS!

  • I jumped once and only once to get rid of my fear of heights. It didn't work and I will NEVER do it again. These are some real brave people. I'll bet that was an adrenaline rush!

  • I refused to jump because my jumpmaster was male!

  • that girl sounds like a guy, its scary.

  • Anyone else 'lol' at "The longest to minutes I've ever had" ?

  • Comment removed

  • What is that clicking noise we hear when they land?

  • @chelseakeer Speed shutter release of the digital photocamera what is mounted at the helmet of the camera and photography guy.

  • how awkward would it be if the guy on top got a boner..

  • My utmost respect to you guys,I don't think I'd have the bottle to do it.

    Heights don't agree with me.

    Great video.

  • Toward the part where they opened the chute what was in her hand it looked like she was clicking something? One day i would love to do something like this it's just a matter of finding someone that would let me do it even with my bad back.

  • OOps I droped the camera

  • I loooove it!

  • Imagine doing this with a gun strapped to your back into heated combat!

  • masterchief does not need a parachute because he takes no fall damage even at extreme heights.

  • @smellynacho54 Now I understand why the klicks of this video are so tremendous increasing in the last weeks. So we see, good PR for us if we infect all the HALO-Game players with H.A.L.O. skydiving. But, there is a difference: our skydivings are real. ;)

  • @SEL9000 HALO is High Altitude Low Orbit.

  • @TheDAWinz No, its High Altitude, Low Opening...

  • @slopstyleXtreme High altitude, Low orbit.

  • @TheDAWinz High altitude, low opening not low orbit

  • @clubbythe Low orbit.

  • @TheDAWinz Your not exactly orbiting around the earth.

  • @clubbythe Yes i am

  • @TheDAWinz Its High Altitude Low Opening.

  • @CodyBarber09 I orbit.

  • @smellynacho54 but he dies in a 2" water

  • Umm, where's Master Chief Spartan John 117?

  • First minute feels like a prono

  • this video is gay hahaha

  • <~ wants to skydive again after watching this video! - Mayhem

  • HAHAHAHA GOOD SOUNDS FROM HONG KONG CHINA

  • How much?

  • What?! I didn't see Master Chief anywhere in this video! :(

  • @TengenMachine The "Master Chief" is always in command onboard the plane. Of course he is there. This is a obligatory.

  • @TengenMachine I know right! Wheres the master chief or at least noble 1 or 2 or anyone else!

  • @Voider74KS Guys, watch the video real. As the guys get in the plane, the Master Chief is infront on the right side behind the pilots. It is necessary, that the Master Chief is always onboard. He is the guy in command. He makes the decision of exit, exit, exit or not. He is repsonsible for aircraft security and about personal security, he checked that anything is ready, also the equipment of the jumpers and the oxygene equipment. Without him, no go for the show! FAA is always there.

  • @SEL9000

Oh, is he the only guy inside the airplane that doesn't have a helmet on to begin with, and the badge on his left shoulder? (by the way, what is the FAA, and sorry about the bad nerd joke.)

  • @SEL9000 i'm pretty sure they are talking about the Halo game series. ya'know? Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo Reach. Master chief is the main protagonist from the first three games.

  • @SEL9000 he's probably not aware of rankings, there is a video game called halo and it revolves around a super soldier under the rank of Master Chief, in which this is who he is talking about. Unless you're completely aware of this and you're just having fun with the childish beings on the internet, sorry for stating obvious information.

    Cheers.

  • @ProjectXero35 Yes. I know this game (without playing it) but I was aware that might be he is talking about. That people do not get it that this video has nothing to do with "HALO" - THE GAME, I will never get it. ;) Thanks for your posting.

  • @SEL9000 No problem, mate.

  • @TengenMachine read the description

  • @TengenMachine read the description

  • @TengenMachine It's a military term for High Altitude Low Opening, basically tactical freefalling

  • @TengenMachine halo means high altittude low oppening.

  • Camera sounds like someone fapping in the background just saying

  • GO.......DAMMMMMMMMMMM THAT LOOK COOL IT DONE PARACHUTING BUT NEVER HALO......next on the list for sure ;D

  • Do you throw the little parachute (can't remember what its called) so you dont fall to fast?

  • 4:37 : Handmade parachute... oh shit!!! hurry hurry fix it or I die :D

  • Not freefall. But badass.

  • @EthanIzDaShyyt It's actually the same speed as normal freefall. In tandem you fall faster, thus the drudge to slow you back to normal speeds.

  • does skydiving feels like you are in a rollercoster or worse?

  • @meirls18 Neither as a rollercoster or something else. Skydiving is special and during HALO you have 2 minutes of free fall. To know about this feeling, you can only describe it if you do it. ;)

  • Great video. Yes, a King Air has more altitude capability than you'd expect. It's not suicide no matter what you ground dwellers think. I've been solo (what did you expect?) out of a King Air at 21,000' and enjoyed the jump. Something very different. For me it was just another skydive but a lot longer. I'd recommend one and all to give this HALO company a call and give it a try. If not, no big deal. This sport's not for everyone.

  • @Ruckweiler73 Thanks a lot. I agree, that this sport is not for anybody and our partners in US are former Navy Seals, Evacuation specialists and train special troops. We are offering the tandem jumps, also very special HALO/HAHO adventures, no solo jumps. Of course, if somebody is interested in this, we are taking care, but this is a total other kind of jump! We are specialized since 12 years in aerospace adventures and so HALO/HAHO found its place. Thanks again for this comment.

  • i justt shit my self :) lol

  • 30,000 in a King Air? That's a new one...

  • not for the claustrophobic

  • Sexy astronaut that is

  • do you have to go with someone with you or can you choose to jumo solo?

  • @AeroplaneCentral question have you ever HALO jumped before? answer no... going solo is just committing suicide

  • HIGHER!!!

  • @SEL9000 Tandems go from higher than 7 grand. 7 grand gives you 15 seconds of freefall which is nothing. 10 to 12 grand is normal. There was a DZ South of Harare that used to do 8, but the DZ was already at 6 grand.

  • goofy bitch.

  • @dah9vandals That was nice.

  • Where is this?

  • Comment removed

  • HALO = High Altitude Low Open.

  • I would probably need a change of underwear after doing this.

  • I may be being ignorant here, but how is that HALO? He pulled a chute about 3 seconds after leaving the plane.

By definition, your not in freefall if you've got a chute deployed, as its causing drag.

  • all that camo and then a rainbow chute.......?

  • hey how can you sign up for this if you can reach me at facebook my email is flm33@yahoo.com

  • @TheFlm33 Contact us please to info[at]halojumpers[com] or visit us at halojumpers-com

  • Dont your ears pop like a motherfucker?

  • This so confused me with the game. Normally i could tell the difference, but since i didnt know what HALO jumping was, i thought it was the game.

  • @runefire296 HALO parachute jumps are existing much more longer as the video game. ;)

  • Yeah, chief fell to earth on a piece of the Dreadnought, he kinda did... HANO High Altitude No Opening. HALO FTW. Game BTW.

  • i hate the new sound for liking a comment >:(

  • I live in tennessee and would still rather go to Arizona to do this. 3000$ is busting heads

  • i rather pay for 300$ flight ticket then take my own parashoot and jump off

  • well i didnt no thats wot H.A.L.O. wuz short 4 :)

  • i clicked cuzi tht it was HALO the Game not... well... whatever it is. lol

  • this looks awesome but i just watched a video about a guy who wants to break the world record for a freefall, the current record is around 102,000 feet and he wants to go to 120,000!! there are videos about the guy who set the record on youtube.

  • @tootall2992 Theres a British guy and then theres Baumgartner.

  • SNOW FLAKES! .. ACTIVATE! :3 win

  • WWWWIIIIIIINNNNNNDDDD NNNOOOOOOIIIIISSSEEEE!!!

  • This is awesome, before these private schools you had to join an elite military unit to even hope for a chance at this stuff. I have my Marine Gold Wings and both military & civilian freefall experience but never even had the opportunity for HALO. If this is your bag its worth the 2 or 3 grand. Just dont pay them until after the jump....keeps them honest and you safe..:)

  • Holy crap that was a long free fall!

  • speacial ops shit right there man. bad ass. not for me though.

  • Too expensive. I am fine with my $200, 14000 ft jump.

  • join an SAS air troop. They regully jump 30,000 feet, and there paid to do it!

  • As awesome and interesting this jump sounds like, I'd never pay 3500$ for just one jump.

2 or 3 sounds more fair, but just one...? No thanks.

  • @FrozenBlaze To train the persons who wants to do the tandem jump included the jump itself this is a hard work. This jumps belonging to "once in a lifetime experience", and its up for anybody to do it or not. It will not be cheaper. Take it, or leave it. ;)

  • @SEL9000

Ehh... Just google'd it, you can do these jumps in Arizona too, for 2000US.$, including training.

    So, cheaper..? Yes.

Once in a lifetime or not, I still leave it, as parachute jumping is one of those things I don't care about. It's cool to watch, but I don't want to invest money into it.

PS. Parachute jumped already in 2009, in Hungary. Sure, it was an awesome and thrilling experience, I do recommend it to everyone to try out, but that one jump was more than enough to last.

  • @FrozenBlaze Right. I know that all. There are people who cares about, and people who don't. No problem with that. But we have a reason to do it in Memphis. And normal parachuting isn't HALO or HAHO. ;)

  • @FrozenBlaze You'll probably want more than just a google search. There are somethings in this world you just don't want to cut corners on. FYI, if something goes wrong in free fall, one of the instructor's options is to cut you loose... 30k feet is no joke.

  • @dobravery

And I your point was... what..?

There are risks in anything and everything a person does: Do a bungee jump, you have the risk of the rope failing to hold you. In a parachute jump, your parachute might fail to open due to malfunction or poorly done bagging.

And it goes for EVERYTHING "dangerous" a person does. With me, whenever I step into the racecar, let it be rallycross or drifting, I accept the fact, that I MIGHT NOT finish the race alive, let alone in one piece.

  • @FrozenBlaze Do you accept using discount auto parts in your race car? Often you get what you pay for. I'm just saying when you jump out at 30k feet, I'd sooner pay a little extra if it meant the people were top notch--rather than go by some google ad to save a few bucks. Save your money on car insurance. Don't go cheap at 30k feet.

  • @dobravery

Your comment still makes _no sense_ to me.

Do you seriously think that somebody would, offer his/her/their services which require seriously expensive permits, many years of training and official permissions that are given out after regular checks, for a little money, without being a professional?

Maybe in some country with no common sense.

Still, my original comments point was that I personally don't care about paying 3500$ for this experience, no matter how thrilling.

  • @FrozenBlaze join the military and do it for free :D

  • @FrozenBlaze It's funny-there seem be 3 types of people-the ones that are like you-did it 1x & that was enough "the bucket list" people-that's cool- you had the balls to do it.Most don't.There are also the"HELL NO ARE YOU CRAZY?!"people & then there are those like me-I did it on a dare in Vegas 1 yr-I was a"HELL NO" person-but I did it & now..full blown junkie.."It's not enough/I need more-nothing seems to satisify/I don't want it/I just need it,to breathe to feel,to know I'm alive."MJK

  • @FrozenBlaze what if ur parachute didnt open on that third one?

  • @cptnoob12

Then "Shit happens", I guess. :P

    LoL.

  • @FrozenBlaze i would its a once in the lice time chance

  • @kingpieman99 Skydiving lice. Now thats something new!

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, fuck that

  • ЗДОРОВО!!!

  • ЗДОРОВО!!!

  • fuck parachutes we need odst

  • So one question, why is the girl in the camo, and the jumpmaster in the leopard print?

  • @FreeRunCentral lold

  • The real HALO. Not that videogame BS.

  • @mobius1aic Not just a game, an epic game.

  • @mobius1aic But Metal Gear Solid 3 is a good game lol

  • i do wish to sky dive sometime soon. and make a perhaps weekly hobby, maybe get my license or something. i do think it's crazy how the plane lands bout the same time you do?? or was it a different plane? Awesome vid.

  • i thought it ment the game HALO

  • 2:37

    Save some time.

  • Thats the highest gay tony ever

  • H.A.L.O to us means CRAZY!

  • Oh daaaamn! Adrenalin ruuuuushing thru my body as I M watching this, remembering my 3 skydives! What an experience, It gets "real" when they open that plane door & tell you to stick ur feet out the plane!!

  • @Chucklizard43 Exactly your words are describing it.... nothing more to add. look at halojumpers[dot]com. ;)

  • @Chucklizard43

oh yea the jump is the best feeling

  • I have read that HALO/HAHO jumps can reach a height of roughly 70,000 ft. Is that true in any scenario?

  • How much does one jump cost? Probably quite a lot, I'd imagine.

  • @DeathByTheTree2 $3,450 for the half day training and the jump itself. If you are interested, contact us. Season 2012 will reopen at end of April.

  • hell yeah if I had the money I would do it right away ;D

  • @SEL9000 Kinda waste of money? 3450 for 1 jump? Waste money already, Might aswell just come hawaii and jump here... No i haven't jumped before but i heard its like 250 bucks.

  • @SEL9000 Things I dont know, before my question. Cost of the breathing gear spread out over x number of jumps (biz plan)? Cost of running a King Air (is it?) up to 30 grand? Tandem master cut? Rig I know. You could put regular jumpers out at 12 grand to help pay. I have a feeling that $3,450 is WAY off the dial. You guys need some competition. Ill bet you $2000 that would bring the price down.

  • @chanctonbury63 You will lose your $2000 defenitely ;) And we do not need some competition in this. This adventures are new adventures since they are legal from amercian FAA since some years. And we are producing quality, not quantity. Safety first. Very special equipment, safety training, video, photos and anything else. This kind of skydiving could only be provided from specialists with a lot of experience. Its not for anybody, and you must know whom you will trust your life on

  • @SEL9000 Im not sure. In my business I dont like competition either. The only difference between this and a `normal` tandem is the breathing apparatus. Film and photo is normal. Safety brief, yes most certainly, but they were running 30 grand jumps out of Davis way back. Not sure about tandems. Its a commercial world. One tries to get as much as one possibly can for what one has to sell. Thats normal. To someone who has been in the sport a while this is a con job.

  • Um sign me the fuck up
