Should be a wake up call to others Mothers that think they can balance a life of taking care of their children and having the need to feed an addiction of drug/alcohol. When you children no longer come first because of drugs or alcohol you lose site of how to best care for your children. Many parents such as this deny the fact even to themselves that they are incapable of being a good parent. That is why more people need to be proactive and watch for this as well as help get better laws passed.

Great points. Too many children take a back seat to their Mother's friends, boyfriends, etc. Perhaps a law needs to be passed that a mother will be charged if children are exposed to predators, with or with out the devestating ending this child had. It would be one horror, if a stranger had taken her, but the idea that the mother had sex offenders around her, willingly, makes it a total nightmare for everyone watching.
