This is a bus that is used in a possible mass casualty event where EMS is overwhelmed and cannot handle the surge of patients needed to be transported. Would most likely be staffed with EMT's and Paramedics. It could be used at a large event where there may be an unexpected surge of patients, such as a racetrack or a traffic accident, any event where the medical need overwhelms local resources. Believe me it is a VERY GOOD RESOURCE TO HAVE!!!

if you notice on the side of the vehicle is says who's county it is then followed by the letters of EMS I'm assuming you don't know what EMS is, It means Emergency Medical Services. If it had anything to do with Fema it would probably say BEMA.

Look, any thing ever created could be used for less then honest things. But transporting people to any kind of a camp in this bus would be impractical. Its a large ambulance, holds 12 to 20 wounded, depending on need. It holds medical supplies. Being a medic I look at the bus and think "damn thats sexy" because I can see the practical use in a MCI (Multiple-Casualty Incident.) I hope St.Louis gets one. Given a scenario in which an entire city had to be evacuated for whatever reason (nuclear threat, biological warfare, etc.) would you rather take your chances getting stuck in traffic with thousands of other vehicles stuck in a freeway, or make a timely evacuation with a handful of those vehicles. the reason they are windowless is so some idiot wouldn't open a window during a nerve gas attack, or some other event.

This is a bus that is used in a possible mass casualty event where EMS is overwhelmed and cannot handle the surge of patients needed to be transported. Would most likely be staffed with EMT's and Paramedics. It could be used at a large event where there may be an unexpected surge of patients, such as a racetrack or a traffic accident, any event where the medical need overwhelms local resources. Believe me it is a VERY GOOD RESOURCE TO HAVE!!!

if you notice on the side of the vehicle is says who's county it is then followed by the letters of EMS I'm assuming you don't know what EMS is, It means Emergency Medical Services. If it had anything to do with Fema it would probably say BEMA.

It looks like there are four air conditioning units on top of that bus. Do they really need four air conditioning units on a bus that size? How cold do they need it in there, sub zero?

Look, any thing ever created could be used for less then honest things. But transporting people to any kind of a camp in this bus would be impractical. Its a large ambulance, holds 12 to 20 wounded, depending on need. It holds medical supplies. Being a medic I look at the bus and think "damn thats sexy" because I can see the practical use in a MCI (Multiple-Casualty Incident.) I hope St.Louis gets one. Mass evacuation busses have been used for some ime now. They are for,well exactly what it says. An ambulance can only transport one patient at a time. Not that great if there was a huge need for more more patients such as a pile up or bomb explosion etc.

take a look at the manufacturer's website, and you can see right inside of it - it's really just a mobile emergency room, for things like massive accident scenes.

Of course, all medicine is made of things from the earth, but most of the modern medicines are made from chemicals which are not found in nature but rather made by man. If we eat a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meat we would rarely if ever get sick. Furthermore, many, if not most, modern medicines are designed to keep us going back to the doctor and buying pharmaceuticals.
All things that we have come from the earth, but not all thing are natural.

oh i get what he's saying, but its ridiculous. people get sick. its a fact of life. no matter how many carrots and apples i eat, i still get sick. That's what medicine is for. because when things like pneumonia are ravaging major cities in Europe, you need something other than a banana and a warm glass of milk.....

I agree with the fruits and veggie part, but meat and dairy, not so much. For it is those two things, along with grain products, that people have been removing from their diet in order to naturally reverse (no such thing as a cure) cancer, heart disease, diabetes(these 3 kill over 90% of North Americans), etc.. The only truly scary thing about this subject is how uneducated you all are...
Given a scenario in which an entire city had to be evacuated for whatever reason (nuclear threat, biological warfare, etc.) would you rather take your chances getting stuck in traffic with thousands of other vehicles stuck in a freeway, or make a timely evacuation with a handful of those vehicles. the reason they are windowless is so some idiot wouldn't open a window during a nerve gas attack, or some other event.

nope, a)panicking doesn't help b) anywhere, one could actually escape to, are the same structures in power.
Connect to local activists, maybe you can take a trip to friends in rural areas, for the time the swinflu hype will reach its peak points. Educate yourself about that topic, educate your friends...let the people around you know what you think, so they know what happened to you in case some FEMA-guys need to separate you from your surrounding ;)
