This movie is great except for the sound.... The sound effects and the timing on the explosions and even points of complete silence are really a let down. Its probably just because of its age. And the fact that it is 1986 and animation is nowhere near as good as it is today. Hell if they would of waited 10 years I am sure the quality would of been much better. The characters also look stiff even tho there robots and it is acceptable. But the sound is horrible.

I never much cared for the origin. I always liked the idea of Primus creating the original thirteen Transformers, with one falling to the malevolent power of Unicron, that being "The Fallen", who would become the first Decepticon and ultimately corrupt Megatron eons later.

Yeah, Snarl (the Stegosaurus) was used briefly in the movie. You can see him for a bout a second when the decepticons attack the autobots when trying to leave earth. I think there's another brief appearance of him in an earlier scene too.
