Well I'm glad War Emblem lost...I escorted him to the paddock and I did security checks on his stall at AP leading up to the Breeders Cup at Arlington Park...that horse is the biggest fucking asshole I've ever met...there wasn't one time he didn't try to bite me...and he was even sly about it...he'd pretend like he wanted to play and then WHAM he'd try to bite me....fuck him...glad he lost...and glad he can't get it up at stud.

He doesn't deserve any horse pussy.

Went 0-7 prior to this race. And then a mere $10 WPS on Volponi turned the day into an overall profit.

The first quarter was 23 and the half went in 46. Don't blame the horse. The pace was too hot and set it up for the closers. The Espinoza moved too early anyway at the top of the stretch. Espinoza is a B class jock anyway.

mine that bird won the derby 2 in the prekness and 3 in the belmont not many horses have done that for 5 weeks mine that bird was as good as they get.

a guy who worked at a company that handled off grack betting for the pick 6 had a friend of his buy a ticket at a track and after the 1st 4 races changed his ticket to have all the winners and then picked all the horses in the final 2 races of the pick 6. Due to the longshot winning the race the pick 6 was worth over 3 million bucks and they were the only winners. Part of the problem was security in the compnays security system.

@paulsonj72 - The morons also committed the classic fraud screw-up - they didn't put in some intentionally losing tickets to throw suspicions off the scent.

Same thing with a money-laundering ring at Aqueduct or Belmont, many years ago. They could have kept up the successful charade FOREVER, only they were too CHEAP to buy bets! Finally, the brain deads noticed that the same people kept going to the same windows and kept walking away without having any betting tix in theri hands!

Ok i get your point, but if a horse can do what MTB did then you can't call him a bad horse. He is a very talented horse. He ran very good to RA in the Preakness. He should race well in 2010. He had a long season. He should be nice and fresh and run well at Churchill. Wait and see he'll show some of the other horses that he can run up with them. I don't think he'll be the best horse but he won't run poorly.

Just finished the book "The Big Horse" by Joe McGinniss. Loved the read. So I had to come back and watch this race again. Volponi beat alot of great horses this day!

I did bet on him $10 to win and place and the exacta... I was the only person screaming down the stretch at Retama Park... He and E Dubai were my two keys in that race since there was a huge inside track bais...
