You know, Im sitting here reading comments, seeing that so many people say this song brings a tear to their eyes. While that does so for me, the fact that people love this song, and owes so much to them is what makes ME want to cry of happy tears. This song does moer than speak to one person, it speaks to EVERYONE. It helps us all see the importance of life, just as the movie teaches, and much MUCH more. Good job to the creators and actors, and more, of Rent <3

This movie cured my Twin brothers homophobia. I was watching it, he saw the opening song sat down and by Angel's Funeral we were both crying...

I am happy to say he is now very Pro-gay and actually saved a man who was being beaten up because he was a homosexual. I am very proud of my brother. and I love this movie.

I don't know what it is, but this line just caught me. It always stands out to me when i think of this movie, even tho it isn't a big song in the musical. It highlights some of the major themes of the story; Hope. Belief. Life.

Such a beautiful scene. One of my favorite musicals of all time.

My friends are in a production of this soon, so i watched the movie. I didn't expect to like it very much, and BOY WAS I WRONG. This movie is amazing, gorgeous, heartfelt. I painted the lines "Forget regret, or life is yours to miss" on my wall, because they're words to live by :) Every single time I listen to this song, I get goosebumps. Such a small song, but so AMAZING.
