  • i really wanna ask ,im in hong kong and there is these place where i bought coloured lens but i lost them , my friend wears coloured contacts every day for 2 years and she had no problem, but many ppl told me colour lens damage ur eyes ?!!!!!! wat if i wear the contacts ,5 times a week ? does it damage it !

  • @k9tooth18 It really depends on how well you take care of your lenses and how often you throw them out. If you wear the same pair for too long it loses a lot of moisture and gets dry. A lot of people say wearing contacts over time is bad for your eyes. I definitely lost my 20/20 over making mistakes wearing lenses.

  • @MakeupANNimal Use PinkyParadise !:) I use that website & so does my boyfriend . We used to get them from Pretty&Cute but she stopped selling them . Sow we went to pinkyparadise . They ship fast & i really think for the prices, they're cheap .

  • @Cookiieedoe I haven't ordered in a long time.. I think pinkyparadise is a little too expensive.. I would rather find something that will save me a couple of bucks and at the same time reputable. But if I can't find anything I would use pinkyparadise.

  • I'm trying to find circle lenses for farsightedness, but so far I can only find them without any power or only for nearsightedness (farsighted = +, nearsighted = -). Does anyone know somebody that makes them/sells them in the + powers?

  • @cataubawoman I did a quick Google search, they make them but they're really expensive. Just take out the spaces. I would do a little bit more digging. circlelens. net / hyperopia-farsightedness. html

  • @MakeupANNimal Thanks so much!

  • Hi, I like your lip color! What lip product are you using?

  • i like your eyeeees yu a so beautiful ^^

  • I learned a lot by watching, thanks sweetie :)

But just a question: I think you said first that you can have the lenses for up to 30 days without changing the solution but then you said the recommended is 6 hours, how often should you change the solution?

  • i wear green natural contacts.the place i got them from closed down.but they look exactly like your old ones where did you get your old ones from? Am struggling to find any natural looking lenses x

  • @Emsilouise92 I got my eyes examined at wal mart and they ordered them for me.

  • wt a bad eyes .............

u not needed contact lenses,,,, u need to change you eye's....sorry but true.!

  • @Sadiqutb1 are you saying that you don't like my eye shape?

  • @Sadiqutb1 How rude. Maybe before you start insulting people like that, you should learn to spell and make proper sentences first.

  • @MOOSHOOPORKCHICKEN lol thanks for that. =) Can't be letting words get to me though! Even though I could barely understand the point he/she was getting across.

  • @Sadiqutb1 Really? I think her eyes are gorgeous.

  • subscribe to mine Geo Nudy Blue Circle Lens

  • Sleeping in contact lenses is a very bad practice. The warm moist surface of the contact under your eyelid is perfect for bacteria growth which can lead to nasty infections ultimately equal blindness. Your pupils absorb oxygen from the air, so they effectively breathe. Contact lenses restrict this but it isn't so bad as to be damaging. However after long periods of time (sleeping) your eyes grow new veins trying to get the air they need which can burro into your cornea also causing blindness.

  • @InsanitySilver Luckily I don't do that anymore =) Thanks for the info

  • How do u know which is left or right if u the wrong circle lens in ur eyes will ur eyes be damaged?

  • @OhNoYouDidnt121 I just have to keep track. The prescriptions aren't far apart to make a huge difference I would think. If you put a way off prescription in your eyes it will be blurry. If you continue to put the wrong prescription in your eyes will try to adjust and your vision will worsen.

  • hmmm, if u want to wear the contacts, when u take it out after ur done with the 6-24hrs of storing with the multi purpose solution, do u have to put a few drops of the solution onto the contact again before wearing it?

  • @hershlykisses I would just to rub off any extra of the sterilizing solution. I normally put a little bit each time.

  • @MakeupANNimal thx for the advice! :D

  • what?! you slept with em and its gone? omg

  • @yeeeee25 Pretty much. =(

  • Hi, I just have a question. It's going to be my first time wearing circle lenses, but I'm not going to wear them everyday. When I'm not wearing them, can I leave them in the case even for days or weeks at a time??? Thanks!

  • @LuvEvrytingKOREAN you can store them for 30 days.

  • @MakeupANNimal thank you :D

  • @MakeupANNimal : by that do you mean if we are not going to wear the lenses, that we can leave them in the same solution for a month? o_o x

  • @TsunadePart2 Yes =) I always clean the lenses and squeeze in fresh solution before I let them sit for a while.

  • @LuvEvrytingKOREAN You need to change your solution every 2 days :\

  • @LuvEvrytingKOREAN nooooo, take em off at night :)

  • My teacher's sis slept w her contacts too , in the end she has to go A&E to get it out . Luckily she did not go blind

  • @HuiyingZhuzhu Gosh all this is scaring me. I really do have to go to the eye doctor asap and find out.

  • umm.. hello, I think I'll get contacts but is it really a must to deep cleanse your lenses? In lostd of videos there is like deep cleanse but I don't really know... thank you if you kindly reply :)

  • @osoyuri By deep cleansing what do you mean? I recommend soaking lenses in multi-purpose solution but I do not recommend using "deep cleansing solution" if that makes any sense.

  • you have seriously saved me from burning and ruining my eyes with your advice. Thank you so much! I'm not a contact user but bought some circle lenses to wear for fun and I was told that you could just use the solution that comes in the glass jars, so glad that I watched your tutorial before I used them. Going out today to buy some solution so I can start wearing them, yay (^^)

  • @annabree40 You're welcome! I wouldn't want anyone to make the same mistakes I did when I first started out. Whoever told you that should be slapped! All that extra protein and stuff would be floating around.

  • um you know you can go blind did you hear about the girl who slept with her coloured contacts and shes going blind now? i think you should go see a doctor.

  • @Thiggyhiggy No I haven't, did that happen for constantly doing it or because one slipped behind her eye? I no longer sleep with lenses in, but I will definitely go if she had one slip behind her eye and went blind.

  • @MakeupANNimal yes she slept with in for only one day, and the contact was lost i think, when she went to the doctors she lost her eyesight on one eyes. she only had her contacts for one day.

  • @Thiggyhiggy That stinks =( I hope that doesn't happen to me

  • @MakeupANNimal i hope so too, go get them checked as soon as possible!

  • @MakeupANNimal I don't wear circle lenses cause my doctor told me I can't ( even though I really want to) and he told me contact lenses can't slip behind the eye because the clear covering of the eye goes under the eyelid and keeps the lens from going further back. :)

  • Cool :)

  • Hey, I got a pair of circle lenses and I'm wondering... I just put them in my lens case today and I will not use the lenses until one month or so. I was wondering... how often should I check the case to put more solution in? I don't want them to dry ):!

  • @GraviEchizen one month is the recommended period that is okay to store them. I find that you can leave regular contacts in solution for a very long time before it dries, but circle lenses absorb so much more imo. I had the blue pair dry out within I wanna say 2 or 3 months. Just make sure to fill it high and close it tightly.

  • @MakeupANNimal Thank you so much for answering <3! I found your video very helpful XD! I was going to try on my lenses just when I got them from the bottle and thanks to you, I know that I shouldn't ~ you saved my eyes!

  • @GraviEchizen probably so! I remember the first time I put contacts in ever they hurt so so bad and I didn't know why. Then I watched a few circle lens videos and I went OOOOOOOOOOH. Lol.

  • what you mean by "have the wrong solution"? Would a multi-purpose solution be fine?

  • @annacrack I had solution made specifically to cleanse protein from lenses and it was very strong, so much that it fizzled when I put dirty lenses in it. But yes multi-purpose solution would be fine, it's the kind I have. I think that should mean you can use it to clean AND store.

  • omg thankyou so much <333 i brought some GEO super angel purple contacts yesterday at a con, and it was my first time, and they came with no instructions! So i was fretting, but then i found your video :3 <333

  • @AnimeGirl0x0x That sounds like a cute style! I'm glad it helped! When I first opened mine I kind of had a hard time too.

  • SOMEBODY ANSWER!!!!!

if you dont have solution, what could you use instead??????????????!!!

    THANKS

  • @LadEMakeup I don't think you can use anything else. You definitely CANNOT use plain water or any homemade products. Bear in mind this is contacts for your eyes, and I personally wouldn't use anything other than solution made specifically for contacts. There are other brands you can use. In general solution is expensive but can last a long time.

  • @LadEMakeup You have to use solution. :I

  • SOM

  • Very helpful video even though way too long :P

  • @razever Sorry about that! =) But at least it was chock full of information!

  • the grey ones make your eyes bigger

  • @MrCaca226 over time I do notice the difference. Thank you! =)

  • after soaking them, do i clean the lense with solution, or do i just pop it on?

  • @Hinata81008 it depends, some solutions say "no rub" but I like to do it anyway.

  • @TheWoranoot did you just curse me out in laos? Lol jk

  • @MakeupANNimal Me your story to everyone who comes into this. Have the right to say anything. This is YouTube. Everyone is eligible.

  • @TheWoranoot lol I just didn't know what you said. I'm vietnamese.

  • @MakeupANNimal I still think this is my personal idea.

  • @MakeupANNimal I am glad to you. Good and useful things to do. Thanks for this video that I turned to see ^ ^.

  • i just ordered circle lenses for my first time for halloween but i think i will wanna wear them more often...Can i buy opti free solution like at walmart?? and is that wat i will use to store them in AND to clean them with??? please answer! thanks!! good review!

  • @Monkeyfrayer yes, you can buy it at walmart and drug stores and yes, you use it to clean and store. Thanks for watching!

  • @Azianfreakkah did you order the same prescription for each eye? If so it doesn't matter which eye it goes in. if you have different prescriptions the number is on top of the bottle.

  • @TR834534 Technically if you know you're 0.00 the doctor would have prescribed them to you that way. But yeah you can wear 0.0 for 20/20

  • @TR834534

You can just get plano. 0.00

  • Very helpful (:

  • @LaPekinoise92 Glad it helped!

  • What if I only want to wear circle lenses once a month? Do I just leave them in the same solution for the whole month? How often should I change the solution?

  • @vanessaYEhh

Yes you should change your solution after 30 days. then rinse them and wear it again :D

  • @vanessaYEhh The solution bottle recommends you change it at least every 30 days or so.

  • @TR834534 20/20 is normal vision. If you're 20/20 your contact prescription is 0.00 per eye.

  • They Are Probably Behind Your Eyes 4real!

  • @cammywoods

    Thats not possible....

  • @cammywoods lol, well hopefully not

  • Hii i just got my geo bella brown yesturday (after waiting a month) from pinkyparadise so i got impatient so i just took em out of the package, rinsed them with solution, n tried them on.. Wen i woke up my right eye is red!!! TT.TT is this natural.. Or is this an infection... Waaah help mee

  • @hyunahekim I'm not a doctor but your eye is probably just irritated. Give it a few days. Same thing happened to me the first few times with the blue one.

  • @hyunahekim You're suppose to let them sit in solution for 8 hours before putting them in your eyes because the solution in the bottle when you receive them is not meant for your eyes and will irritate them. Let your lenses sit in solution for 8 hours and take a break from wearing contact lenses for a few days. Hope you feel better.

  • I have normal contacts and I've been looking for green contacts but I have a weird prescription do you know if you can get these in any prescription?

  • @Megan263 some sites go to -10. I think pinkyparadise is one of them. What is your prescription?

  • Sorry, I just want to get something straight. So you can get prescribed colored contacts, right? I mean, I want contacts instead of glasses. So I could tell my doctor that I want those contacts colored and he'll give me a prescription?? Sorry, I just really want to know.

    Please and Thank you.

  • @Jujufish411 you don't need a prescription to buy circle lenses BUT you need an eye exam to know what power you need. Again, circle lenses are not for everyday wear, but you can always get u.s. approved contacts from the eye doctor.

  • @MakeupANNimal I don't think you understand...maybe you do....but. I want contacts instead of glasses to help me see. Can I get those contacts colored? Sorry, I just really want to be clear about this.

  • @Jujufish411 oh by "those" I thought you meant the ones in the video. You can go and get contacts instead of glasses yes. Usually they have freshlook or colorblends as your options for colored lenses. They will let you try a few colors and brands before you commit to it.

  • @MakeupANNimal Thank you soo much ^_^

  • @Jujufish411 No problem!

  • Hey great video !

I just got those nudy grey circle lenses, i never had any experience with eye contacts before lol. Is it bad to just pop them in your eyes without cleaning them first ? because i didn't buy the opti free replenish yet and i really want to wear them now. So is it okay ? i think you mentioned something like this in your video but just want to be sure, sorry xD

  • @donnajupiterrr most likely it's going to burn. A lot. I recommend you wait because you won't have a storage and that solution in the glass jar will dry out eventually. I say this cuz my first experience I did jus that. Lol Good luck!

  • @donnajupiterrr HEYY TRANNNN!!!!

  • @sepiasiren

    Two things.

#1: clearly i offended you, otherwise u wldnt have written me back and got all defensive using analogies that have absolutely nothing to do with this video.

#2: just because ur insecure about how u look doesnt mean everyone else has to be. So please, go seek some counseling/therapy. Do not take your inverted feelings out on me because u were called ugly as a child...

Meanwhile, why dnt i paint my body green & walk around like that "for fun". Lmao.

  • You have a very soothing voice, not to be weird or anything lol

  • @mandaromi lol I take it as a compliment. I'd rather that than someone calling me high pitched and shrill =P

  • WHAT DO U MEAN THEY WERE GONE! :0 did they go to the back of your eye or somthing?

  • @CassidysGorgeous I don't really know! lol I never found the one contact.

  • Mine did not come with any instructions, but now I know

  • @PurpleMarquee That's good to hear! =)

  • So, I wish I watched thus before I put them in my eyes straight out of their glass container.

  • @PurpleMarquee Oh no, it burned didn't it =(

  • y cant ppl wear their natural eye color??

  • @MsCaramelbeauty It's just for fun! It's not like I'm 20/20 either though..

  • @MsCaramelbeauty why can't ppl walk around without clothes? LOL. Silly question--they do it to change their look and to have fun--why do we wear shoes, earrings, watches--scarves--hats--it is to change our look--to be fashionable--and its fun--why do you care?

  • Respond to this video... thanks girl--very informative. Just got my super nudys and I am using revitalens (on my doctors request) but I am skeptical about it as I have always used optifree. I may switch back--also had something weird happen. One of my contacts got stuck in the vial so I squirted revitalens in it to loosen it and the water bubbled--ahhh--good /bad?

  • @sepiasiren sometimes it does that. I may just be air. If it FIZZLED however, that might be a problem. I would switch back it might be a crazy cleansing one.

  • oh hmm. well it looks really pretty on you :D thank you so much for answering all my questions.!

  • @GeeBae No problem =)

  • with my regular contact lens, usually i stock up on alot of lens - in case, something happens to one contact, i can always just open up a new one and replace it. but with circle lens- can i still stock up? how long can i store it for before i HAVE to use it? about how many circle lens should i buy to stock up?

  • @GeeBae They recommend that you use them within a year I believe

  • @MakeupANNimal

so after i open them up, lets say after 2 months of purchasing it, can i still use them for a full year? or for 10 months.

  • @GeeBae I'm not so sure that's just what I saw on the labe. They are sterile until you open them up. I would wear them until they're really uncomfortable honestly. Also keep in mind circle lenses are more of a cosmetic lens and not an everyday lens.

  • @MakeupANNimal

right. thank you so much ^.^ by the way- how many circle lens do you have now?

  • @GeeBae I still only have the three pairs. I use them sparingly. But sometimes the blue one still irritates my right eye.

  • @MakeupANNimal Well, you can wear it everyday up till a year.. xD I'm just sayin'.

  • For freshlook's cosmetic coloured lens , can we actually order them without prescriptions ?

  • @xiiaolianq I don't think you can. When I was young I bought them from this store. I haven't tried to buy them without prescription ever since.

  • I want Circle lenses!!!

  • @mikey88bui lol, I didn't even know that was you that commented hahh

  • How long should i go with it in my eyes? Is 8 hours ok?

  • @jnzekwu Try it out and test your comfort level =) Most likely if it's your first time you won't be able to have it in for long maybe 2 hours?

  • Very helpful

  • @lishbarrett20 Thanks so much for watching!

  • What kind of contact eye drops do you use for circle lens? Also, how often do you change the solution if you don't wear them everyday. ANd what was that solution that you used before that was bad for your eyes?

  • @yuyuyu517 I don't have eye drops at the moment but I should. It's recommended that you change the solution every 30 days if you're not wearing them. And it was so long ago (like maybe 10 years) that I don't remember the brand. It might have been the wal-mart brand..

  • This helped me a bunch to get ready for contacts, thanks for the video! (:

  • @ShiningBeautyStar When I first had contacts, I was completely lost. So I'm glad I could help!

  • I have the same circle lens-solution!! AND I LIVE IN FINLAND !!! :DDDDD

And thank you for the vid <3 ;)

  • @g1naYoong not a problem glad I could help!

  • you said when your contacts were in too long that your eyes would turn red but what was too long? four hours??

  • @prissy232 I would say about 8 hours? Like a work day. Now they just get irritated and I feel sleepy. It's not as bad as before

  • .what is the c0l0r of y0ur c0ntact lenses bef0re that y0u replaced with green? i think its fresh l0ok grey?!

  • @bpcroxy21 swear I thought I answered you a long time ago! In the video i had nature/tricolor blue. If you're talking about my old lenses that I had before I got circle lens it was fresh look color blends (like regular prescription lenses) in green

  • .what is the c0l0r of y0ur c0ntact lenses bef0re that y0u replaced with green?

  • you said the solution isn't suppose to get in your eyes?? but with opti free its ok to put the lens on right when you take it out of the solution??

  • @mzcarolx4 the opti free is okay to get a little in your eyes. but I wouldn't drop it into my eyes like eyedrops. you don't want the original sterilizing solution it come in to get in your eyes.

  • mine are like 100$ wtf thanks for the sight

  • u said u slept with ur lenses on so what do u mean u woke up and they were completely gone? lol?

  • @tristatecuties Yes one of the lenses just disappeared! I never found it.

  • helpful! i would have probably used the solution inthe bottle as a solution if you hasnt told me

  • @GotPh0 Glad to help. That solution would be very yucky. haha

  • niccccce

  • @chickies0peck hahah thanks =)

  • @MakeupANNimal Ok so i have like 3 questions.

#1 I have HUGE pupils (people ask me if im high sometimes! lol!) can my pupils be too big to wear lenses?

#2 How exactly do you get all the slution off the lense before putting it on?

#3 What is a good brand of eyedrops to use if your lenses get dry?

I really hope you respond thx :D

  • @xXmikichan1562Xx I think circle lenses are a little dangerous to begin with, so maybe it may be a problem for you.

you want to get off all the sterilizing solution by rubbing it with store bought solution a little and storing it for a few days.

I haven't bought any solution for that purpose, but visine makes eyedrops specially for contacts

  • @MakeupANNimal I got my circle lenses fianally, and the second day i had them in i noticed that i couldn't see the purple of the lenses anymore, turns out that my puplis shrunk, which i found to be HELLA weird... so im fine now, thanks for helping though. :3

  • @xXmikichan1562Xx that's weird.. You should be letting in more light to have your pupils shrink and it would seem like you'd be letting in less light. It could be the lack of oxygen though. Lol I don't know that much biology to explain.

  • Your eyes do look bigger

  • @Angelduhsexxxy thank you!

  • @ccindy18 If the contact was soaking in the solution, I recommend you change it. Every time you take your contacts out they will have protein film from your eyes. Also, I think what you're asking is if you could water. You never use water. I don't know the exact reason as to why, but solution is specially formulated to rehydrate your lenses and water actually dries them out and makes them uncomfortable.

  • Thank u so much! This review is very helpful for first time user! Question do I have to buy a separate saline solution and what is it for? Thank you!

  • @Chiantiques yes you have to buy a bottle of solution to clean and rehydrate your lenses. It will clean protein film from the lenses and keep them moist.

  • It's 60$s?? o-o! What??! i thought it was just like... 19.99$?? If it's 60$s I'm not buying them...

  • @Ch3rry4ever I bought three pairs at 19.99 each

  • @MakeupANNimal Ohh Icic. Btw, Do you know where to get Clean Care Solution?? I was trying to find it but can't.

  • @Ch3rry4ever I've never heard of or seen that brand. Sorry! Try a professional store?

  • @MakeupANNimal Oh okay! Btw i found that store already! :O it's Walmart. Pretty cheap. ;)

  • @Ch3rry4ever Great glad you found it!

  • @MakeupANNimal Yeah! :)

  • How long can you keep them in for before they hurt?

  • @nessaxogurls depends on your own comfort level. but on average like 8 hours

  • @MakeupANNimal thank you =] and, have you got a video on how to remove them? I struggle with that
