By Blue trail of dust and the direction of South West. It appeared for almost 3 weeks and visible to naked eye. But 24th Feb 2009 it was closest to earth. They predict this comet to come back into our solar system after 1 million years. 2009 is the year Astronomical Year.
I think you can watch it for few more days. This comet may not come back again and may exit our solar system deep into the space. The bluish tint is amazing.
Simple Sony family Camera. Shot this film outside my house. Did not use tripod so it was shaky a bit as the camera is very small to hold in hand. But the bluish comet is amazing even with naked eye. I love space, my eyes are always up.
Nevetheless, it is very nice of you do filem it up. I have a Maksutov Cassegrain Telescope as well as a 12 X60 Binoculars ready for the comet, but skies over my area is super cloudy.
So sad for my part. But hope that many more skywatchers may get to see it.
why cay i find a good quality footage of a real comet?

ladies and gents, comets tails aren't dust and ice, it is an electrical charge, or a plasma charge.
