Hi, I have a question! My friend watch is water resistance up to 40m but when she went to play water slide, her watch clouds up and now it's not working anymore. I'm just wondering how will this camera perform under fast moving water... let's say... i carry it along and film it while sliding down a steep water slide? Will the camera cloud up? And for shock resistance, will the screen have the same resistant or will it crack more easily. Thank you.

@HugeDeek Hello. I have this camera and I used it in a waterpark going down several slides with my son and daughter. This camera worked flawlessly. Check the specs on this camera either on the Panasonic web site or other posting and it will give you information on shock resitance, depth, and temperature tolerances. Check out my youtube site and I have posted a compilation of the waterpark visit. Hope this helps..

the TX5 is not all that rugged, have you ever messed around with one in person? This Panny might lack the awesome auto sweep panorama but will def outlast any TX5

man this is a strong ugly camera.but the tx5 is rugged and it looks awesome and its also a touch screen and it have the awesome sweep panaroma

i have ts1, its to FAT and this one is even fatter! sony tx5 i like but no autobrakating, plus this one like the ts1 does not do 1080! thow the sonly tx7 does....agin not autobrakating and not waterprofff
