Imagine being the rhino - a bunch of members of a different species "sneakily" trying to get close to you, obviously the rhino thought they were there to attack it which is why it stood up getting ready to defend itself or scare the predators away.

They are instinctivly very protective of their young..If she had wanted, she could have been on them before they could have even thought about running. They couldn't have outrun her anyway...

It is a white rhino, the main feature to tell black rhino and white rhino apart is the shape of their lips. The white rhino is so named after the afrikaans for 'wide', white rhino's have a wide mouth, where as black rhino's have a much narrower set of lips.
