Awesome! I thought I was one of the only people that liked the Hills Have Eyes 2 remake, I loved it, the creatures were so well done, the make up, special effects were awesome, some great gore as well. Thank you for the comment.

Well everyone has different tastes and it appears that HHE 2 is a movie that you either love or hate, I loved it so I would recommend it if you are into gore and creatures. This movie is all about showcasing the gore and creatures. The reason I loved it so much was the great detail and development put into the makeup, spfx, creatures, gore. The acting was poor, but the acting wasn't exactly stellar in the first remake either. I'd say rent it and see how you feel about it.

Romancing the Stone was definitely better. I loved the depth of the Creatures in the Hills 2 remake, the creatures made the movie really enjoyable for me. The first remake I didn't like very much, the acting was bad in both but the creatures were so well developed in the 2nd which is why the 2nd was much better for me.

I only saw the Hills 1 - it made me shriek once or twice, but other than that I thought it was just so-so. I never saw 7 pounds - to be honest I absolutely hated the previews/commericals. Additionally, I happened to stumble upon an interview of Will Smith and Rosario Dawson, and they seemed fake and talked really abstractly about the movie. Snooze. Let me know if it was any good.

you can't lose out on a dvd called 'cold and dark' for only 2 bucks! nice pick up. ahhh i really want the original hills have eyes, havent seen it yet. yeah i liked the remake too, can's say i liked part 2 (remake). yeah i love the 'indiana jones' style cover art work . you gotta the love national lampoon vacation artworks too! hah! i think they were going for the indiana jones look. great stuff. great video jay!

I've had a few previewed dvd's not work properly or skip but I always forget to keep the reciepts :/ .

However it's the only video store around these days at least by me and the prices are good for the previewed ones.

Do you know how often a dvd has to sit without being sold before they send them back?

My favourite Will Smith films would be Men in Black and Independence Day.

Even though I liked the original 'Hills have eyes', I actually also liked the pace and graphicness of the remake. I didn't think too much of the sequel to the remake as I thought some of the human characters were just stupid (and they were supposed to be soldiers aswell) but I agree the 'monsters' were good though.
