  • Unfortunately, the very talented & great vocalist Sammy Davis Jr., made one mistake here. He should've hired a blues band to back him instead of a Vegas tight ass band with a Julliard graduate's charts. Sammy with blues musicians, blues producer, a whole blues LP - he would have cooked it. Check Dean Martin's "Since I Met You Baby," on YouTube. Even Martin tried. On this attempt he did quite well. A shame they followed their formulas instead. Sammy had the juice.
