Umm...I don't think the song refers to a woman ignoring a man...From my point of view, it's about a man who loves this woman, but the summer approaches and he has to leave, permanently. And my guess is that the woman loves him back, but due to his "friends" he mentions, he HAS to go, while he only needs one person, that one woman. He probably doesn't even consider himself worth lovin' when he's abandonin' her....So, the way i see it, this song is a goodbye/consolation song....

I was shopping in Barns and Nobles and heard the song "High and Low" playing all over the store. So I went to the music department and asked the clerk what song that was playing, and he held up a CD "Through Toledo" by GL.
