@TheARMAProductions I don't think Dirrell's chin is weak. Dirrell actually took Froch's punches better than Froch took his. Hard to tell what would have happened if he traded more with Froch. He had alot of success when he did stand toe to toe but of course he would be give Froch more opportunites to land one of his big shots.

I think Europeans (especially Danes) took the Kessler fight way too personally. Ward/Kessler could have been held in Kessler's living room and Kessler would have still have gotten his ears pinned back. I do find it interesting that a Kessler fan is taking Ward to task for his low frequent flyer miles. How many times did Kessler fight outside of Denmark throughout his 13 year career? 3 times...hardly a journeyman.

Carl Froch is a nice guy and a credit to the sport for not ducking anyone but against Ward, I have to go with the American. Ward has the better defense and faster hands. Ward/Kessler could have been held in Kessler's living room and Kessler would have still have gotten his ears pinned back. I do find it interesting that a Kessler fan is taking Ward to task for his low frequent flyer miles. How many times did Kessler fight outside of Denmark throughout his 13 year career? 3 times...hardly a journeyman.

@TheARMAProductions Although Dirrell's style wasn't pleasing I wouldn't call his tactics "stealing a win". I had Dirrell winning the fight but wasn't outraged by the decision. You have to TAKE the champ's belt...especially in his backyard. Not sure anyone really cares to see a rematch. Dirrell needs to mend his rep a bit.

@TheARMAProductions Ward fighting in Atlantic City doesn't give him much home field advantage. He isn't a huge name in the US. He can pack a house in the Bay Area (Norther California) because that's his home turf. I suspect more Brits will fly out to Atlantic City for the fight than Ward fans.

He struggled against Dirrell and Kessler and simply out worked an older Johnson. He dominated Abraham but so did Ward and Dirrell. No doubt Froch is a tough opponent but to suggest Froch is so intimidating that Ward is trying to sneak out the backdoor is a little far fetched.

Carl Froch is a nice guy and a credit to the sport for not ducking anyone but against Ward, I have to go with the American. Ward has the better defense and faster hands. Froch for all his talk about power, hasn't knocked out an opponent since Jermain Taylor. He struggled against Dirrell, lost to Kessler and outboxed a poor boxer in Abraham and golden oldie in Johnson. His record is slightly flattering and it won't surprise me if he gets beat.

Froch is my guy, but he will have a problem with Ward, as Ward can be gritty and very skillful, is strong mentally and has a lot of speed and is extremely focussed.
The type of guys Froch will beat are the ones whos will he can break and I dont think he will break Wards will. I hope Ward doesnt fight him like Dirrell did, but i suspect he will do his best to spoil. Supporting Carl all the way though, he's everything you want from a boxer and i hope this fight elevates him to the recognition he deserves in the UK

ward vs froch, what a great fight, i think calling jermain taylor a living legend is a bit far, but froch is brilliant, top fighter.
