  • ....as long as we have racist white people on this planet...and fox news...we still need affirmative action.......oh..and the GOP....

  • Affirmative Action doesn't solve anything, and if anything, drives us further apart

  • Affirmative Action is Racism.

Showing favoritism to any individual simple because of race is not only incongruous, but harmful... true equality may only be achieved by merit, and intellectual capacity.

  • With a name like tucker you can bet hes a futhermuker, another typical bigot republikkkan

  • bullshit, white people get more opportunities because theyare simply white! its a fact! and how does that play out, afirmative action guarantess that those offsets are in place to stop the minimal of preferrential status and special treatment

  • OK, but they could SUE, right? You see, the problem with affirmative action is it judges people by race, which is cleary hard to define. I mean Asians are marrying white people, blacks with white people, and so on.

  • He is so right.

Let's end affirmative action. If you are denied something because of your race, gender, whatever! You file a lawsuit and you win.

Lets become the country that we say we are. One where you achieve what you want in life because of who you are.

No government boosts, no diversity engineering.

That is the real American dream.

  • White men are so inadequate and afraid of losing their country they are losing it based upon these fears alone!

you are a coward! and you are weak as a man! hiding behind your race as a innocent and ignorant and coy caniving pos.

you owe the black, mexican, indian until you become the minority and that's only for starters.

afraid of a black man? LOL

why? oyu want special treatment and preferred status automatically over every minority because you are the majority. confused idiot!

  • Think before typing.

  • Tucker is absolutely right.

  • IMO me's right about "affirmative action" (what he means is "preferential treatment") being an out-of-date practice.

However, he's not right about advising Obama to promise its abolition. Obama would lose half of his base if he did that. He won't do that, I promise you.

  • tucker was talking about rightness and wrongness on moral grounds. He was not refering to political plausibility.

  • Yes, that's true.

  • The issue should be closed simply because not all aspects are being looked at; only one: black people. This proves what I, and anyone else who studies this issue already know. Whites anti-AA advocates (males particularly) don't want to help anyone but themselves, and piss and moan when someone black gets a leg up. They FAIL to mention any other aspect besides the black one...prejudice at its most subtleness.

  • Subtle racism? So that's what consistently props illegitimacy up and keeps performance down in the black community--subtle racism. Can blacks not get over that ever daunting hump of subtle racism? Is that what keeps them down? Well, I have greater hope in the abilities and will within the black community. Excuses will only weaken the will. The Jews know a thing or two about overcoming...only they've consistently overcome something a bit more serious than subtle racism.

  • AA isn't just for blacks, you ignoramus. Thats the point. it will end it for women of all races, including white women. Stop will all the stereotypes. I'm for tweaked AA, one that includes some sort of media coverage and mentoring programs that uplift black youth.

    watch?v=WG7U1QsUd1g

AA is not only for blacks! if it where a white women only thing we wouldn't hear about it

I haven't given excuses, just history, all of which you were completely ignorant about.

  • And Obama wouldn't end AA, just tweak it so that it's not only racially based, but economically based as well (but when talking about economic status, race is unavoidable, so mainly blacks would get it anyway) He'll boost civil right initiatives (its not AA, do fight against discrimination in the workforce or education). But you, sir made no mention on how to stop these said discriminations. you, like so many of "your kind"(not whites, but ignoramuses like yourself) gave no input on (cont)

  • I'm glad you believe that affirmative action should not be racially biased, but economically based? For what places then?

  • Unfortunately, to talk about economic classes IS to talk about race, since the two have an intertwined history. I say that those who go come from a lower income family, or/and go went to a school that is not high up in th education ranks should get it. Now when it comes to civil rights enforcement, boost the monitors. When it comes to reparations, I think instead of money, blacks should be given proper representation in the media. BET does NOT CUT it. I also think that America's public (cont)

  • Proper representation in the media? Yes, I agree. Maybe, if blacks did not have this "rap" image, blacks could work hard to be in the media.

  • 1st of all, whites listen to and support 70% of hip-hop culture. Google it.second of all, whites didn't build this country, minorities did. the genocide of native americans is our country's beginning. Black slavery was one of the greatest financial "achievements" of america. If it were for slaves, there wouldn't BE america. The the asians were exploited into building the rail-roads for super-cheap, and then put into internment camps. Work hard? Please get it right.

  • schools need both an aesthetic and educational reformation, from the bottom up. Also, every parent must meet with their child's teachers at least 4 times a school year, and give the children desirable rewards for incentives for greater achievement. If you read the statistics, blacks have to overachieve their white counterparts in order to get the same job as whites (many times they are denied anyway)

  • How are blacks "overachieving" then?

  • You are power hungry. Don't mistake resentment for justice.

  • on how to stop the discrimination by alternative means. Read a book, and suggest answers before denying other solutions. As for the Jewish comparison, Jewish is not a race. Nor have the endured what AA, or Native Americans. In THIS COUNTRY. Apples and Oranges, kiddo.

I never gave excuses, just history. With that history and an understanding of how 85% of what of blacks grow up feeling about themselves:

    watch?v=WG7U1QsUd1g

Maybe you'dcarenough&suggest an alternative means to handle the problem.

  • Let's "stop the discrimination" by not talking about race, something Morgan Freeman believes.

  • America tried the whole "lets talk about race" thing before. They've been trying it for 35 years. It doesn't work. There is still discrimination, but AA hardly even addresses the issue. Something entirely different needs to be done, and unless an alternative program is made, AA needs to remain in place, or in the very lest tweaked.

  • You are mentally weak. The individual needs to be stressed, not the herd. We are on the whole a herd animal. The challenge is breaking away and being who we are. I see only bad things from affirmative action. Too much focus on the federal government is a bad idea.

  • The only people against AA, are those ho have not benefited from it, whites and blacks alike. Trust, if AA were extended to poor white families as well, would we hear any objections? No (even though it is easier for a poor white guy to get a job than any other minority). This issue has once again been turned into a "black-white thing", when it clearly if far from a "black-white thing". It has become a debate about the worth of black people.

  • jbrid13 is a racist.

  • The white middle class started only from the fha homestead act that lent billions only to white americans during its first 30 years of its operation. That, as well as the jim crow accounts for most of the discrepancies between race net worth. Since whites, mostly males, were given the upper hand in this country for so long, why not let the other gender/ races benefit from it. It AA does bring down expectations, the white males must really have some personality disorders in this country.

  • An eye for an eye? But then you have no eye.

  • Affirmative Action benefits white women more than Black people...ending it would not attract Hillary supports but rather repel them...and its only been 40 years in contrast to 450 years of bigotry...this dude is ignorant.

  • Affirmative Action is neo-racism!

Tucker Carlson is an American patriot.

  • BO would gain soooo much credibility with swing voters (and even moderate Reps) if he did this. He could make it work too. By explaining that transferring AA funds to programs to help the poor, it would still disproportionately benefit blacks while targeting that group...the black underclass...that even blacks cannot bear anymore.

He should say AA has been a great success, but it's now time to move on to the next phase in the civil rights struggle. Declare victory and end AA.

  • Fuk Tucker...ass hole snake

  • Tucker is absolutely right.

  • He maybe right. I'm black and have never been a fan of how affirmative actin has been done. It actually benefit white women more than blacks and hispanics. People have believed the myth that affirmative action allows blacks and hispanics to be hired easily with no qualification. I'd rather be turned down for job than be hired for a job because I was black. I think affirmative action lowers expectations for blacks and minorities and women.

  • lowers expectations...uhh..no, dude.

  • On what grounds does your "no" rest?

  • What leads so many people astray, too, is their concern with the philosophical justification (intention) of AA without also questioning its actual consequences. One can look to history and its application around the globe for this. Obama seems to be similarly misguided in his persistent support for AA.

If real progress is what is desired, then the consequences should be included. Focusing merely on the underlying intention of AA seems to be done merely for political reasons.

  • Affirmative Action benefits white women more than Black people...ending it would not attract Hillary supports but rather repel them...and its only been 40 years in contrast to 450 years of bigotry...this dude is fundamentally ignorant of Affirmative Action.

  • uhhh...what consequences? Increased Civil Rights monitors, perhaps?

  • uhhh...a decrease in personal responsibility. For instance, illegitimacy among blacks have increased from 25% to 71% from 1960 to 2006 respectively. Accountability is quite important to the success within various groups. Culture is an important source for this, don't underestimate it...perhaps.

  • illegitimacy has increased in white, or any other race in the U.S. as well. Now...getting back to the topic of Affirmative Action, and lets not point the "black finger", shall we?

  • Exactly. This is an overall cultural phenomenon.

  • By the way, I'm against all illegitimacy, as illegitimacy breeds illegitimacy. It got worse in black black race due to three factors: crack cocaine and drug charges(in which their are harsher penalties for "black drugs"), poverty (which is getting better though more can be done), and the media which overrepresented and still distorts blacks in the media)

  • What consequences? Can you clarify?

  • Affirmative Action still exists..Colleges etc have a quota they must stick to..Even if that person didn't qualify they get in..no competition on their scores...just skin color ...Since Blacks have gotten their first black presidental nominee that has a serious chance of competing..it's time to END Affirmative Action..We still have laws that it is illegal to discriminate against race..that should be sufficient

  • Racism is to discriminate based on reace. Afirmitive action is to discriminate based on race. Affirmitive action is racism.

  • What affirmative action? Where is there affirmative action today?

  • Affirmative action as in place today should be eliminated. It needs to be replaced with affirmative action for economically disadvantaged people, so they can get access to better education. Like Harvard is doing. If someone is accepted and doesn't have the money to pay for it, then schools should wave the tuition. This is not about letting morons in Ivy League schools, but not having people quit school solely for financial reasons.

  • americans don't want a hate church full of thugs in government..

    NObama!!

  • i suppose obama only met that guy who was working on finding him a VP a handfull of times too.. you know that guy under federal investigation that just ran like a rabbit when people like me exposed him..

    STOP OBAMA NOW!!!

  • i suppose obama only met that convict a hand full of times who set up his house deal and bought the lot next door too? lmfao

  • Tucker's white ass needs to be dropped off in the south side of Chicago at night. Then he can see first hand the bleak, completely jacked up situation the urban poor deal with regardless of color. People like Carlson bitching about affirmative action make me want to puke, because Tucker is so obviously ignorant and unconcerned about the plight of people other than himself. Standing up for that oppressed white majority, that takes some balls.

  • Affirmative Action is extremely unfair. I'm amazed that our government actually promotes racism! Let's do away with this tired, old legislation and progress to a merit based society.

  • let's get rid of legacies as well...

  • That made no sense whatsoever.

  • I think minorities in this country would have loved a merit based society. Too bad if you were black, female, latino (etc) those in charge didn't give a sh*t about your merits, they simply weren't going to give you an opportunity.

Oh, right I know, racism, sexism, homophobia, all just a bunch of words made up cuz minorities can't compete, right? All just a conspiracy to keep the white man down. I mean what does it prove people say plain they won't vote for a black man. Nevermind that, right?

  • Hey everybody,

Brothaman2k just played the "Race Card." You have heard it a million times before..."We blacks are oppressed and can't compete because of the bad white man. Therefore the government should give us handouts!" After 40 years of Affirmative Action, all blacks should be CEOs and pHds by now! Instead, they are Snoop Dog wannabees! Sad really!

  • Affirmative Action has been an effective (but very expensive) program and has helped move 75% of blacks into the middle class (or better) in only 40 yrs. The problem is the 25% mired in the underclass, and IMO no amount of govt money can fix that problem. It's more an issue of a pathologically failed culture than lack of opportunity. The issue is when (not if) to end AA, and I say the time is now. Only a black pres can pull this off, and if BO promises this he'll win in a landslide.

  • If he promised to do that, I would vote for him.

  • Hey everybody CBERASTUS just proved to be one of the idiots I was talking about! Racism, sexism, homophobia all made up. Not such thing as racism despite the fact that he lumps all black folks into be Snoop Dogg fans that can't compete. Let's forget that I'm a college educated business owner. And it's odd how you don't seem to object to the 300 years of white affirmative action whereby whites would always be prefered over any minority, no matter the race, creed or color. What a shock.

  • Right, the college degree with an Affirmative Action asterisk on it AND the business you financed with race preferential loans doaled out by our government by the truckloads. :) Nice try SoulBrother2k. We all know how you got where you are. Kinda like how Obama got the democratic nod...everyone lowered the bar for him. Both of you should be ashamed!

  • CBERASTUS- I walked into class studied and got my grades like everyone else did. And by the by dipsh*t, I started my business with money I saved by working my ass off. I know it's hard for you not to be a petty, racist prick, but at least give it a shot, ok? And again, thanks for posting your ignorant, witless, small minded, bigoted, myopic and, of course, completely predicatble comments. It's morons like you that help me prove my original point.

  • SnoopDoggLoverBrothaman2k,

I don't believe you for a second. Anyone can make up crap like you just did; but having said that, I realize that Affirmative Action is the 'Law of the Land' now...so I must lower the bar for you. At the expense of myself and all other tax payers...what would you like? I know if I don't give you a handout, you will play the 'Race Card' on me. LOL!!!

  • Jim Johnson is WORKING for obama

say NO to thugs in government

    say NObama

  • Obama or what? A geriatric seething with rage and a hair temper surrounded and funded by lobbyists while promising a 100 year occupation of Iraq and a new war with Iran.

    No thanks.

Not to mention a continuation of the last 8 years of failure and the installment of a evangelical tali ban in the supreme court.

    McSame, The Continuation of confusion.

  • jimbo- not great but better than thugs and haters.. they hate america so much they are supporting a hater.. and they know they can't destroy america legally so they support criminals.. this is the sickest thing i've ever seen..

  • ROFL, Really Obama hates America...

When you express contempt for 50% of the country who feels as he does your the one who hates America, at least the half that disagrees with you.

When you lie about Americans because your to fucking illiterate to have a ideological difference with someone you disgrace our country.

  • jimbo- you wrote:

"you lie about Americans because your to fucking illiterate" (can't spell you're)

that is a typical response from thug- a hater or a bully..

NO haters and thugs in government-

    NObama

  • And your point is?

Thats right you don't have one.

    It's called Ad hominem.

  • jimbo- my point is truth and facts..

  • Your point is you don't like Democratic policy and thats fine.

But after 8 years of republican collapse you have no alternative but to make up stupid shit and sling personal attacks.

Go back to capitalizing hussein and terrorism in place of trying to have a valid argument this election cycle because the GOP doesn't have one.

Throw a few 9/11's in there like Giulliani does to.

  • jimbo- i don't deal with likes and dislikes..

    i only investigate facts..

    FACTS!!!

    9-11-01 WILLIAM AYERS: "i don't regret

    setting bombs"

    OBAMA and AYERS:

They served together on the board of a Chicago charity, and in the mid-1990s when Obama first ran for office, Ayers hosted a meet-the-candidate session for Obama AT HIS HOME.

  • LoL OMG he met someone a handful of times. (End sarcasm)

Donald Rumsfeld had a deeper relationship with saddam hussein, grow the fuck up retard.

John McCain still associates socially with G Gordon Liddy.

The only person who will even repeat that shit is known white supremest sean hannity.

And guess what? They polled this and people are more bothered by mcCains association with bush.

On a personal level, seek help.

  • worked with him on a chicago charity- and only

"met someone a hand full of times"? lmfao

and this is how stupid they think other people are..

  • You didn't investigate that. You got it from Sean Hannity.

  • FKKK U, az101010

  • Tucker calling someone an idealogue, this idiot needs to just go away and take his pwned ignorance with him.

  • The latest jobs report. Blacks lost jobs at twice the rate of whites. Why is that? God bless America??

  • Vote NO to McBama! GO RON PAUL!

  • Can you believe this imbecile Tucker, gas price devastating people, the dollar is falling, home closure is up, there are two expensive wars are going and the concern of this fool is affirmative action. It is the least urgent issue right now. I like MSNBC but if I see this guy in any of the shows I will turn off the TV

  • Tucker wasn't saying that AA is the most important issue facing the nation. He said that Obama could use that angle to get working class whites to support his campaign. Don't get me wrong tho', I agree that it would be stupid to suggest that AA is the most important issue.

  • I thought it was a pretty apt comment. It's a great issue for Obama and I think he agrees with it (economic quotas over affirmative action). Folks who think he's "racially divisive" would stop and say "hmmm".

I actually like Tucker on these panels. Better him than one of those intellectually dishonest campaign consultants.

  • Mccain for place in the Museum 08.

  • Obama May '07:

"I think that we should take into account white kids who have been disadvantaged and have grown up in poverty and shown themselves to have what it takes to succeed...and we invest in early childhood education, improved K through 12, if we have done what needs to be done to ensure that kids who are qualified to go to college can afford it, that affirmative action becomes a diminishing tool for us to achieve racial equality in this society."

  • Colorado #1 in the nation for children in poverty increase.

  • Yup, Obama is for all that, as long as the poor black kids get more than the poor white ones.

Whether or not he'd like poverty to be a factor in hiring, admissions, etc. he still prefers that race be retained as such a factor. In other words he supports discriminatory practices by local, state, and federal gov't.

  • Ind3005,

Obama's statement above disproves that. Do you have reason to directly dispute that, other than your opinion that is?

  • Obama supports preferential treatment on the basis of race.

He also supports preferential treatment on the basis of income or family income. That's all that statement shows.

My opinion has nothing to do w/ it.

  • No, repeating yourself doesn't prove your point.

The candidates position statements are clear on the subject. You are either woefully ignorant of the meaning of the statement I quoted above or you are just being contrarian out of hatred for Obama.

Whichever your purpose, you are ridiculous for revisiting a four month old post simply to start an argument.

McCain is toast. Deal with it.

  • I can't do anything w/ the truth except repeat it.

The candidates, plural? You mean Obama/Biden?

The only thing clear about Obama's statement on this topic is that he has no intention of changing anything. He supports the status quo, which is to say he supports preferential treatment on race, gender, etc.

Mentioning that AA (He means race preferences.) hypothetically become a "diminished tool" for achieving "racial equality" is not a proposal for change. It's a proposal for nothing.

  • If you think that's a cogent argument, I have nothing more to say. You've proven nothing except that you have no idea what Sen. Obama's position on Affirmative Action is...even when it's presented to you. Whatever...

  • Here's Obama on AA (race preferences), in a recent debate.

"So I still believe in affirmative action as a means of overcoming both historic and potentially current discrimination, but I think that it cant be a quota system and it cant be something that is simply applied without looking at the whole person, whether that person is black or white or Hispanic, male or female."

The first clause shows he supports AA (race preferences). All the other stuff means dick. He supports AA.

  • What Obama means by "racial equality" is racially proportional representation in higher learning and professions. He means equality of results, not opportunity.

Investment in "early childhood education" is nothing new. It's called Head Start, and it's been going on for the last four decades. It targets at low-income families, which implies it serves disproportionately many black families. It may not surprise you that proportional representation has not been achieved since Head Start began.

  • All Obama states is that AA (preferences) will not be needed once we achieve "equality" with mechanisms we've been using since before I was born. He doesn't intend to do a thing, except increase the amount of taxpayer money wasted on current programs.

I don't blame Obama for his position. It's practical. He knows he doesn't stand to win votes with this as an issue. He could only lose them, from whites who dislike AA. So he will never propose any real changes to AA.

  • I hate Obama as much as I hate any socialist. That includes McCain and virtually every member of the leadership of either major party.

I watched this video, scanned the comments, saw yours, and replied. Later I followed a link to your reply. The only thing ridiculous about it is that you've surely done the same thing, and yet you tell me I'm ridiculous.

Of course McCain will lose to Obama. How is that relevant? Obama still supports naked race preference by the state.

  • OK, then. Are you satisfied with yourself yet?

Those are your opinions and you are convinced that they are justified. No use arguing with you, then.

However, you're not convincing anybody here...since this conversation was over months ago...and least of all are you convincing me of anything.

  • Sure, it's my opinion that Obama supports race and gender preferences. It's also a fact. He makes this clear in his own statements.

In his own words, if he were to do anything at all he would expand preferences to include the poor along w/ underrepresented minorities. Current race and gender preferences would be maintained, not reduced.

You can argue w/ me if you'd like, but that won't change Obama's position.

  • It's also my opinion that Obama will do nothing about AA, ever. He has not stated as much himself, but as far as I can tell there's nothing in his platform addressing the topic. Nor has he ever seriously tackled it in a public setting. All he has done is affirm his support for AA while suggesting it should be expanded.

  • I doubt very much that Obama will ever seriously address AA, either now or once he's President. He, his campaign managers, and his political allies know that would hurt his popularity w/ one demographic or another no matter what position he took.

The conversation between us did not end months ago. It's going on right now. And believe it or not, people are still watching this video and reading these comments. How do you think I responded to your original comment?

  • LOL! Yes end affirmative action, the program that white women benefit from more than any minority group. Good luck with that.

  • Firstly, white women do not benefit from preferential treatment ("affirmative action") nearly as much as blacks, Hispanic, and Native Americans, b/c they (white women) do not receive nearly as much of it.

Secondly, preferential treatment (by the state) has already been made illegal by ballot measures in CA, WA, and MI, and come November such measures will almost certainly pass in CO and NE. They have passed with ample margins thus far. Apparently no "good luck" is needed.

  • Do your AA research before blatant assumptions. Look it up, read a book on it, whatever. That statement is false.

  • Which statement?

  • the firstly. Hell, google it, if your too lazy to find a published book.

  • Often one reads something like... "The enrollment of women when up ten-fold in law and med schools from 1960 to 1990. These were mostly white women, so white women must benefit the most from AA in law and med school admissions..." or something along those lines.

That's bogus though. AA is not the only reason for this increase. Social norms change w/ time, after all.

  • don't be stupid. Don't deny the facts that are right in your face. You look unbelievably prejudiced, when you do so. (not saying that you are, but it could be inferred)

  • I don't believe you. Show me the "facts" you mention and I might change my mind. Implying I'm stupid and bigoted isn't going to cut it though.

  • WHITE WOMEN are the primary benefactors of AA. not Blacks

    aapf. org/ focus/ episodes/ oct30(.)php

  • All that website does is cite Department of Labor statistics showing the percentage of women in various fields went up between 1972 and 1993.

It neither demonstrates this was due to AA or cites a source that does.

  • Plus, I don't know about you, but I'm more concerned w/ the present than the past. Today in university admissions, private and public hiring, and government contracting, white women receive less in the way of preferences than, say, black men or Hispanic women.

That's on an individual basis. I'm not sure if we're talking about groups here, or individuals...

  • Actually Obama has talked about altering affirmative action and thats one of the reason why I am voting for him.

When addressing affirmative action Obama has stated poor white children need just as much help as minority children. Noting that his kids wont need it and shouldn't have it.

He hinted that he intends to shift affirmative action to be based on income.

  • Exactly. It's not so much about race anymore as economic class. And in a couple more generations race isn't going to matter that much anyway...I would hope.

  • Race will matter. There's a strong current of bigotry in most Americans. An unemployed lower-class black man scares most people way more than he would if he were white.

Plus there's the disparity in how many blacks are incarcerated vs whites.

  • You missed the point. That lower-class white man is just as liable to snatch your purse just the same as that lower-class black man. That's the thing Obama is trying to show everyone...it's not about race anymore but economic class.

I don't know why you brought up jail numbers. Cause that just goes back to economic class. The disparity between poor people and rich people in jail is EVEN LARGER than black vs. white!!

  • And why is there such a disparity of rich vs. poor in jail? Cause the rich can afford better lawyers. Cause the rich usually arent in a position where they NEED to come up with quick cash so they can feed their family.

Your jail comment makes you sound like BillO. What's your point? Those numbers indicate 1 of 3 things to be the culprit. Blacks are morally inferior, there are a lot more poor black people, or theres a lot of racism in the police department. Which do you believe is most likely?

  • Obama's been evasive on the subject lately, even somehow avoided supporting it during his race speech. It's a great general election issue, though.

  • Evasive? How so?

Obama addressed this on his web site and in the interview 5/07 that I cite below.

  • I know what he said in May 07, but here he is in April 08 (the heat of the Democratic primary), when asked about AA:

"Well, I think that the basic principle that should guide discussions not just of affirmative action, but how we are admitting young people to college generally, is how do we make sure that we're providing ladders of opportunity for people? How do we make sure that every child in America has a decent shot in pursuing their dreams?"

  • I still don't see what's evasive about his answer in April. It seems to me that he addressed the question once again.

Are we to expect our next President to have all his own answers to Americas social issues in his back pocket?

A reasonable person would expect a leader to build a working consensus across partisan lines in order to address landmark issues such as Affirmative Action...not just someone who's going to tell you what he's always wanted to do, given the chance.

  • The 4/08 statement is evasive because it avoids a direct answer to the question of whether or not he supports AA. I personally enjoyed the nuance for the reasons you cite, but I'm a flaming lib who's not so sure we're ready to throw out AA.

But for those on the right who think that Rev. Wright or the UCC's pastor-of-the-week better represent Obama's views than Obama himself, a forceful anti-AA statement would be a big winner.

  • I don't agree.

But your welcome to your opinion.

Personally, I think America should reject Dominionist style vetting of the Churches that our political candidates attend.

    But that's my opinion.

  • Of course America should reject "Dominionist vetting". The problem is, we haven't. In fact, that's the demographic I'm talking about: "folks who believe in Demonionist vetting". These people believe the vetting has exposed Obama as a Farrakhan disciple. Fox's Obama coverage is dedicated to "proving" the case. Fair or not, it could cause great damage to Obama's campaign. Injecting into the news cycle a fresh AA statement that these folks happen to agree with would be a reasonable defense.
