I feel so bad seeing so many young people going on concerts like this, believing they walk in Christianity, in guidance of Holy Spirit, yet dressing so worldly, acting so, and never question their consciousness in light of Bible, of holiness, of Him that's so greater and Holy than everything we knew or can imagine.

One night my friend was praying on the side of a road in Africa. She was caring for the Ethopian people. This deaf and blind women was meandering around. She decided to pray for her as well. Then after she finished her prayer, she looked straight at my friend. She started touching her face and started yelling her name out. My friend said her name and she said it back. For people out there that think christians are reading story books, how about you look at the contents of your body? Why is it that scientist realise that most of the contents you find in a human body, you will find from the dust of this earth. Hence this is why we have lead, calcium etc. And thats exactly how we were first created and so shall our bodies return.

@funnycutechick - I have struggled with these realities as well. But you have to realize you will never be completely Christ like. Our goal is to achieve that perfection but it is inherent that the flesh is weak to sin. Best you can do is identify where your fall short of His glory and ask for God to give you the courage, strength, and knowledge to persevere to overcome that sinful nature. Remember, whatever your going through, He is there with you and the best you can do is turn to him.

jesus kept my grandfather alive in veitnam. He always carried it with him and the one day he forgot it in his barracks he was wounded. The first thing he asked for after getting to the bases hospital was that he wanted his pocket bible. Jesus kept him alive through that and i pray he will do the same for me when and if i ship off to afghanistan

God has three answers, yes, no, and wait. Maybe you cant see the great things God does everyday, but you will. you just cant give up on him, because he never gives up on you. Even now. My pastor said sometimes he just wants to see how bad you want him. I havent found my way yet, but Gods gonna get me there :)

He allows bad things in our lives because they make our faith in him stronger. About the people going through the genocide,famine and war, maybe it's still happening to them because they havent turned to God. Rushing it wont make it any better, or faster, or easier. Personally, I see nothing vauge about the promise, nor cryptic. He says after 7 years of tribulation. Which hasnt happened yet, obviously. So He hasnt returned. He created you, in His image, and He loves you. What more reasons does one need to believe?

One night my friend was praying on the side of a road in Africa. She was caring for the Ethopian people. This deaf and blind women was meandering around. She decided to pray for her as well. Then after she finished her prayer, she looked straight at my friend. She started touching her face and started yelling her name out. My friend said her name and she said it back. @funnycutechick - I have struggled with these realities as well. But you have to realize you will never be completely Christ like. Our goal is to achieve that perfection but it is inherent that the flesh is weak to sin. Best you can do is identify where your fall short of His glory and ask for God to give you the courage, strength, and knowledge to persevere to overcome that sinful nature. Remember, whatever your going through, He is there with you and the best you can do is turn to him.

Apperantly, the difference between Jehova and the idols is that He has power.
And you know a tree by the fruit it bears. So basically, if this God we're talking about is real,
then so are the miracles. So are the healings. So are the changed lives. But Jesus was really practical
about it. So my advice to you would be look for the real fruit. There's way more proof than a story book out there. Look for the real fruit. :)

Read all of these peoples reasons, and if you STILL don't have any hope, go to a church for a bit, it doesn't even have to be a permanent thing straight away, go for a few sundays, then think about it. Even come to easter camp! That is SO fun and an awesome way to get to know God. (: Praying for you.
