nokia 5800 display solution fix

i have put magnet as you showed and it works very fine for one month in 5800xm after that display is again bugging sometimes pls help

1. Install a very simple theme. This is the one I'm using

2. Disable 'Theme effects' by going to the Options under: Settings->Personal->Themes->Ge­neral

I know nothing about how these themes are rendered on the phone, but it appears that the 'Theme effects' might be contributing to the problem.

Man thanks so much.. For all, we dont need the magnet.. You must download new software ( on NOKIA OVI SUITE software ) Version : 52.0.007.C02.01 and problem is out :-) Sory for my bad english :))

I tried putting a fridge magnet (like the ones pizza companies etc use for advertising), didn't seem to work. Is the magnet you're using different in any way to the fridge magnets?

Buenas noches, lo que pasa es q tuve un problema actualizando el celular (NOKIA-5800)… mi pantalla quedó dividida en dos, de las cuales la parte superior hace un barrido hacia la derecha; y la parte de abajo se muestra como un TV sin señal. Quisiera saber si será problema de la pantalla o del touch o d software!

I would upgrade the software if '3' would let me! but a wee magnet seems to fix it, I even stuck it in my freezer for 5 minutes and it worked fine with a magnet on it. This will get me through to when my contract ends.
