In an age where there are more music video stars than music stars this is a refreshing change, unusual imagery that doesn't distract and sell the song with a mini-movie like every other pop song or sell the artist in a choreographed dance routine, i got lost in the music and the video is hypnotic like one of those spirals that go on forever but perfectly pitched to suit the music mood and theme.

I think this is about someone who thinks of their entire life as a movie. They just died, and they're going to be in heaven and they've their life on a videotape, so someday they could watch it again

This is strange cause when I was little I thought I could, might, do that.

But I've always thought, if you watched someone else's life through their eyes... would you do the same thing as them in a situation?

That's a good explanation.

My opinion is that it's a suicide note, and that's he's scared of being judged in heaven. And that he can't do it face to face, so he recorded his last words on videotape, the words that sum him up.

I think it could be a bit of both of our ideas.

@lufc550 yeah i pretty much think of it the same way. maybe not so much as a suicide song.. because i seemed to always find the song uplifting and peaceful. but thats just me. but i agree with him sorta saying " heres me, and my best moments.. remember me for this when im gone" . who knows really though. its just a beautiful song. :)

One of my top fave Radiohead tracks.

The idea (with the video) is great, but perhaps it would look better with less visual distortion, and less strong?

Basically, the video plays a little clearer most of the time (some distortion present for a good percentage, occasionally coming in clear), and only occasionally getting as bad as you see in this video?
