u need bf 2 cd , newest bf 2 pack ( 1.5 i think , look it up ) , punkbuster(dont know if this required ) , Projectreality mod files ( the core need to install first then the levels . the version is 0.87 ) u r good to go , and ofcorse u need a Mic lol . anything u need ask google

i cant play PR since my BF2 game crashes every time i try to play it. the message that pops up says that i need to optimize my shaders. But cant you only do that in game. Go to my channel and post a response there if you have any answers or anything that will help me. Oh yeah, it wont let me uninstall BF2. my last resort would to be wiping the computer's hard drive, but i dont want to do that. If BF2 ever works again, i'll download PR .86

yes its VERY strange for a 12 years old boy to play PR because they think it lacks "Action" even if you ever see a12 years old boy play PR they will mostly act mature enough to follow orders and crap.

even tho i did start playing PR last year and i'm only 14 this year... i always hated Fast action FPS and stuff like that.

anyways... GL and HF in your PR Experience (you will definitely enjoy it but it does take time to get use with everything and learn everything (e.g piloting/basic maneuvers)

I must say, the Fallujah performance tweaks seem to have worked out damn well. I used to lag like hell, now it's very smooth.

Everything else's good too, of course. I especially am thankful for the new animations and their attention to detail. Chuc ftw^^

latest version IS 85. this is a teaser for an, as yet, unreleased version. have you installed bf2 1.5 beta? if so that could be the problem. If not go to realitydotcom tech forums but first id try reinstalling bf2 and PR.

arma is much more large scale i think.

pr is for smaller areas and resources. i haven't played arma, but i assume since PR is limited by the bf2 engine (bf2 wasn't made for PR, arma is made for itself) that the feature count lacks due to bf2 limitations. arma devs can do generally whatever they want to add stuff.

I would also argue ArmA is more realistic in many ways (partially due to the scale of it but also it has realistic ballistics and is a bit more brutal with the death system, but there are various other things as well) but it can be a pain in the arse to play, and feels often less fluid than PR. Though i personally prefer ArmA

its big file, so you have to wait a while, or you can s´choose the manager thing by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete you know what i mean. Choose processes, and find PR.exe or PR setup one of the two. When you find it right click on it and chooce priority and change it to high

if you mean they should make it less reliant on memory, than the only ways to do that would be to either find a different engine (in place of bf2) or get rid of many of pr's features that make it so good and when you think about it, neither of these really make sense.

you should think about upgrading to more RAM though, it's fairly inexpensive.
