Andy McGee was in a government experiment in college, along with a woman that would become his wife. Together, they have Charleen, or Charlie, McGee. Andy can bend people's minds, but it gives him pinprick aneurisms, so he's slowly killing himself by using it. Charlie can start fires with her mind, but she has a hard time controlling it. A section of the government, called the Shop, finds out about Charlie, and so they try to hunt her and Andy down so they can use Charlie as a weapon.
Rainbird was a maniac. George C. Scott played him to perfection. His voice, his laugh, his demented smile, his Dr. Evil eye...absolute perfection. Tangerine Dream's soundtrack is absolutely excellent.
Im like 16 years old and my dad gave me these old tapes that have the firestarters songs on it and loved them when i was a kid but now i cant listen to them for i have NO tape player and i cant find them online,if anyone can find them, gimme the link please
The version of Crystal Voice on the soundtrack is different slightly than the movie version. Probably because the one in the movie was a longer piece that lead into the beginning chase in the movie.
Yes, the opening theme is the best song. I loved it so much I got rented the movie on those old large digital video discs and recorded it onto an expensive metal audiotape, along with one other song from the movie. I also bought the soundtrack the the original music from the movie is better.
Yeah Crystal Voice is the name of the track. Its an amazing piece of work, the way it builds up but never goes over the top. Alot of emotion put into this by TD.
Have to be one of my favs along with Exit from the album Exit
Try and download it from Limewire or something. I wish they would release the 'real' soundtrack to the movie even though what they did release is good.
i also love drew barrymore !!!! long live tangerine dream !!! shazam1059

Well there supposed to be blue.

Charlie's clothes are all wrong in this. She's supposed to be wearing a green shirt and red pants. Also her eyes are supposed to be blue;not green.

her eyes aren't green
their special hazel

The soundtrack sounds better throughout the film, rather than coming from the album. So it's cool that you put this on here.
Wish you included the opening theme, though.
