  • Just attended John's concert here in Memphis, last night. Sang this song and it brought tears to my eyes. Spoke to my heart, spoke to my spirit. Gave me that strength I needed to press forward. This came in a time when I needed the most. I had tried everything, but the one thing I had forgot was to not only pray but to BELIEVE that it was already walked out. He told us to reach for that blessing. Im claiming victory right now. John has been an inspiration to my life.

  • I know you all might ask y I always post this song. Well in this day and age. When times r so hard, when heartache is so near to all of us, when at times we feel that well can't go another step farther. Remember our heavenly Father loves us. So through it all, just stand.

  • Thanks for the old school footage! I used to rock this jam in my mama's first blessed car the Metro(you all remember that throwback car) But, anyway John and New Life are the jump off and if they come through your city, drop that Lil Wayne ticket and go here you some Lil Jesus! And the word is so profound, God don't work on what the world says, He works on His word! You'll get it on the way home! Smile and the check, job, peace of mind, family member are alright!

  • Love this song!

  • John P Kee brought me to Christ also and he is also my mentor in singing. Dietrick Haddon reminds me of a higher tone version of him. That is why I like Dietrick also

  • This is old school John. This is my favorite song, I saw Pastor and NL sing this in concert in 1992 and on that night I gave my life to christ and been serving him every since. Thank you for the post....keep JPK COMING!

  • wow never seen this before!!

    awesome

  • Just sent a prayer up for you doughboi1975

Everytime I hear this song on my ipod I get chills and tears flow. The lyrics to this song speak the truth especially while this country is in the midst of powerful deadly hurricanes, Us troops losing their lives in war, home foreclosures, job eliminations, banks going under. Even though the world is in turmoil right now I have faith that God has already worked this thing out and we as his children just have to hold on, fast and pray.

  • if god had it planed out y doesnt he stom the tornadoes and natural disasters??

  • When you plan out a road trip, why don't you get rid of all of the traffic. Just because you administer a plan doesn't mean it will be without its obsticles. Just as most people don't turn and go home at the first sign of traffic (they drive on!), you should not turn and run from God at the first sign of trouble. Drive On!

  • this so true, speak on it!!!!

  • @DrRonBleezy with that explanantion you can make people believe in everything :) if it doesn't help, just wait a second. You will )some kind of help in it.

By those means you can even give devine powers to hamburgers

    (no offence)

  • @DrRonBleezy AMEN!!!!!! We must press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling in JESUS and continue to look toward the hill from whence cometh our help...knowing that All of our help comes from GOD.

  • wow.....old skool John on Bobby Jones back in the day

  • I've seen this episode before. I even recognize this set. I am glad they added some illumination to studio the next season because it was so dark.

  • I remember this song just like it was yesterday...what wonderful memories from the 80's.
