As someone who loves Bobby, I feel thankful that Spacey did do the film which was obviously both a labor of love and a calculation. His dedication is proven by the fact he took no salary for this. The film doesn't always work but that's mostly the fault of the script, I think Spacey's performance was inspired. You should be fair, rethink your position on this.
This was an underated movie..kevin Spacey was awesome and should have been nominated for an oscar..he also sang all the songs himself and did an incredible job!
