  • Nice job. I agree that it would have been more effective had it been performed at a slower tempo, but it is still performed very, very well. The dynamic control at the end is really, really good!!

  • too fast. tone is good. blend is okay but you guys need work. this song is difficult for a reason.

  • Cant remeber but did u guys do this at methody in ur tour of ireland?

  • But this is a very difficult song so you guys did a fantastic job!

  • i like you critism it is true and noted. i have sung this song and know what it takes to make it better so i agree with you 100%

  • There are some pitch problems at times. And I'm not talking about the notes that actually sound like that. More sopranos and please make it slower, this just doesn't have the same influence it would have if it was slower. And rounder tone! :)

  • Great job! I played the instrumental version in High School, so I can only imagine how much time was put into this.

  • This is by far my favorite eric whitacre piece. I'm hoping my choir will do it. You guys did a fantastic job at it though. It might have been a bit better if it was slower, but it was also nice because you didn't do it like everyone else does. Beautiful job.

  • I'm going to say this now - if you make a negative or RUDE comment about any of the KHS performances or the kids, I will block you and delete your comment. These are up here because the kids can watch, learn and get constructive feedback and good commentary.

  • if you are wondering why i posted this - it's because of the comments I deleted and you can't see. thanks!

  • it was a lil bit fast...some vowels were off but it was pretty good...Whitacre is amazing

  • You guys took it a little too fast but all together really good.

  • Yay! I love this sing!! Great Job Kantorei!

  • Ah, Whitacre... :).

Wonderful work, this was an amazing high school performance! The vowels got to be a little spread at times, but nice job.

  • By far, Eric Whitacre's best piece (in my opinion). The concert band at my high school is playing this with the choir. Eric Whitacre, himself, came to our school and directed us for a class, great guy, amazing piece. Sounds beautiful, especially with all the french horn.

  • Ever heard With a Lily in Your Hand? Very interesting piece, and more intricate.

  • good! REALLY good! to fast

  • Note - this is a high school choir performing live at a concert. This is not a college choir and it is not recorded in the studio. Terrific job kids! Lovely job!
