I feel that perhaps this is a nice aspirational video. I am about to embark on a PGCE and this is of concern to me. The experience i have in schools is that perhaps high level discrimination would be dealt with but i feel a lot of low level discrimination could continue and effect you personally without any recourse that would not influence career progression either at your current school or at another.
I agree with praline and often wonder about how other LGBTQ manage low level stuff that is so widespread
